Great video once again, man! I've been following your warm-up routine with the purple/black band ever since I saw you demonstrate it the first time. It really helps me warm up, and I love how, as you mentioned, we can focus on pure form during the warm-up phase with the help of the bands. Those ankle weights look amazing! I'll have to check those out. Luckily, I can take weights from my @CHRISHERIA weight vest and put them into my new ankle weight wraps, which only max out at 4.5 kilos. I should have gotten a heavier set! 😆

If you're at the point where you can do a few BW reps and want to clean up your form, one thing to consider is how much difference a small amount of weight makes. Try doing a few reps with a #5 plate. That's about how much difference it would make to reduce your BW by #5.

Nice job with the 10 kilo muscle ups Mike! Do you prefer the ankle weights over the dip belt? Also, I just wanted to share how difficult muscle ups can be if your bar isn't quite stable. It's probably a no brainer, but until I stabilized the bar, muscle ups were almost impossible, even with bands. Hope this helps someone that may be using older equipment.

Hey Devin! The ankle weights are much more practical when going to different outdoor gyms, but I do like the dip belt set-up as well 😊💪. I agree about unstable bars, it's tough to do muscle-ups on them. Did you have a chance to stabilize your new bar build?

@@MikeZouth Yes those adjustable ankle weights you have now look like the best setup. And yes I was able to stabilize the new bar with ropes and some stakes in the ground. It made a huge difference and it's officially a muscle up bar now. Super pumped!

Would bodyweight endurance sets build up the strength for strict muscle ups and a high weighted pull up in general

Hi how much high to be the bar for beginners, for me is easier on higher bar im struggling on lower bars i can't swing properly on lower high bar.

Hey! It is always best to practice muscle-up on bars where your feet dosen't touch the ground 😊💪
