Lol someone who understands what’s going on? I’m often amazed when folk are surprised by how bad things are “in this day and age”. Just my opinion but for those who were taking note, the likes of Trudeau, Biden, Johnson, Merkel King Charles and all of the G8 countries all told us when Covid hit that they were gonna reset the economy🤔 So imo all these leaders doing the same things with borders, economy ect aren’t just being inept, rather they are all following the same script down to the letter. The idea imo is to cause so much chaos that by the time the United Nations sweep in with their Global claims of peace and offering to buy people’s homes while they still live in em is gonna see a massive majority of people bowing down and openly wanting to be so reliant on government

Read the fine print on my VW Golf that I bought back in 2015. Turns out their proprietary version of Onstar could track location and vehicle data even if I canceled the subscription. It could also technically receive signals to remotely control door locks, and plausibly the engine and brakes too. Took it home and the first thing I did was open the dash and removed the gps/communication antenna box that enables that kind of remote monitoring and control. I feel you, JP.

Those were exactly my thoughts on smart cars for a loooong time. Those and the fact that they could decrease car performance from software, limit it, decrease charge cap after a few years to make you buy a new one, right to repair like what apple's doing with their phones "you didn't change tires at our representative? Your car is blocked for breaching the terms you agreed to when you've bought the car. For your own safety. Changing tires is more complex than people realize we can't afford to have your life on the line, people have died because of tires changed incorrectly. " it's insane how paople are oblivious to this. You will never *own* a smart car. You might own the hardware, but it is no more than an ornament without the software, and you have no power over the software.

Okay, but the thermostat thing actually happened... people in Colorado were locked out of their "smart" thermostats during the last major heatwave and couldn't set their AC lower than like 78(f) or something. It was all centrally/remotely controlled. (PS does anyone else get, like, irrationally pissed off when people interrupt Dr. Peterson?)

Depends if the joke is supposed to be offensive or make a point, bill burr is classified offensive but its only because people don't wanna hear the truth eg feminism is cancer which is is, its original purpose of feminism is suppose to bring the genders closer together but modern feminism is just driving us apart, i.e men hating psychos. However people are using their comedian roles to be offensive for the sake of it eg there's a youtube channel about a comedy club for far right crap, one person says people start mass shootings are bullies so lets arm the bully victims to finish them off. i mean wtf? thats not dark thats just evil, and you wonder why there's serial killers out there

As if I didn't already admire him, I couldn't agree more about the cars. For so many it's not just about necessity and utility but autonomy and freedom. As soon as they get our cars, they limit ALL of our mobility. I know it's already coming; OnStar, self-driving, BMW subscription based options. It's a horrifying prospect, but I'll be sure to keep my analog sports car for quick escapes.

Kick off is more soccer commentary and not sure they have the depth to have a super interesting interview with the ones we have come accustomed to for JP. You can compartmentalise certain parts of your personality. The Kickoff can be a very good show AND True Geordie can have respect for political hacks like Jordan Peterson who’s paid by the Daily Wire (funded by oil barons) to further their agenda by appealing to disenfranchised, lonely men who are crippled by the effects of right wing policy in US and the U.K.
