A clean looking shiny bald head has to be shaven and moisturized daily and exfoliated at least weekly to maintain the look and avoid bumps and irritation, especially if you have a mostly full head of hair that can grow back. Some also apply sunscreen daily to protect the skin if they’re not going to be wearing a hat outside. That versus daily brushing and biweekly cuts/line ups feels like more maintenance to me.
