What are the uses of poppy seeds ? For fry can we use ?

Poppy seeds are used to thicken meat gravies. It's not used in fish curry or fish fry! 🙂

Pls tell us if the flame has to be low, medium or high while frying the fish. I always end up with the fish sticking to the pan

Leena, the flame has to be on medium for the fish to fry properly 🙂 Also do not turn the fish too early, let one side cook completely before you turn over the fish. This way the fish will not stick to the pan. By the way the fish sometimes sticks to the pan if you are using an iron pan and it is not set properly. If you are using a non stick pan then the pan doesn't need to set. 🙂

Rajesh, fish doesn't need to be marinated for 1 hour. Ten to 15 mins is all that's required. Meat is generally marinated for around 1 hour at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator 🙂
