We used to enjoy it for dinner on occasion, with chappatis I’m going to follow your recipe for the filling of the Alé Belé I’ll be making with an Anglo-Canadian friend on Wednesday. Now, there’s an idea; why don’t you make a video on Alé Belé? He was fascinated by them and folded them to precision as per my Mother’s recipe.

Bini, we have added tomatoes & tamarind as the souring agents which should be sufficient for this recipe. But when you taste it at the end & if you want it more sour, you can add a little bit of Lime Juice or Vinegar which ever you prefer 🙂

Yes Celine, you can definitely add a little mint although they don't add it in the traditional Goan recipe. 🙂
