Wow, what a great teacher. I had instructions to install the new faucet, but had no clue how to remove the old one. I'm a 76 year old woman who HATES plumbing. It still took me hours to get the old one off, but now I have a pretty new sensor faucet with no leaks and no major mistakes. So happy. Thank you so much for the help.

awesome video but i would add that with older faucets it is extremely difficult to get that install nut at the bottom of faucet under the sink off. i tried a couple of wrenches and got nowhere. i ended up just hack sawing off the top off the faucet and let the whole thing drop through the hole. took a couple of minutes but saved a lot of time and aggravation.

Great job thank you for taking your time to describe in detail the correct way to install this type faucet. It is interesting how the installation differs from manufacturer to manufacturer. The faucet I just installed came with non bursting color coded supply lines, gaskets for the bottom of the faucet or hole cover and top of the connecting nut. Along with the gasket is a metal ring that also fits over the connecting nut. The nut comes with 2 locking screws that are tightened after hand securing the counting nut.

Great tutorial, thanks! I just brought a Delta Savile home from Lowes on sale for $159. Not sure I want to replace my old one but it's dripping plus leaking out the bottom and it has no manufacturer tag on it so I don't know for sure which seats and springs to get. Plus it isn't a high arc like this one. I haven't unboxed it yet, but I am guessing the "diamond seal technology" will be cut off if I cut the hoses shorter and put those gaskets in. Also the color coding will be lost? I really don't want that kind of hose and I don't want extra hose looped around under there. But it was either this one or a Moen and the Moen has only max 1.5 gal per minute flow where this one has max 180 gal per minute. Plus this one has three different spray settings and it is supposed to be over-spray proof.
