My mum suffered years of domestic abuse and even after she eventually left my brother suffered for years. He had to see a child psychologist at 5 yrs old and unfortunately my brother became an abuser. It took him actually meeting someone that he respects to make him stop. He hasn't lifted his hand for over 10 yrs now. I suffered 10 yrs of domestic abuse and it took him smacking my son that made me leave. I can choose. My son can't. The day I left I watched the clock go round for 20 minutes while he BATTERED me senseless while my 4 yr old son sat screaming and my 6 month old was a foot away in his seat. I'm proud to say that I brought my two beautiful boys up by myself and they would NEVER raise a hand to a woman. They despise the man their father is. Well if it's that deep into the abuse then it's their fault for staying as long as they did. I'm sorry thats not an excuse. When it comes down to it the kids are the ones who suffer the most they watch that and then think it's ok when in reality it isn't. Women need to gain some self worth and show themselves they can leave. File charges and actually go through with it, don't go and bail them out thinking things will be ok come that night.
@jeno77882 жыл бұрын
@@ItsAllLove4Real Thank you. People don't understand this until they've been through it. I was in an abusive relationship, went through with filing charges like a lot of ppl suggest, his grandma bailed him out, he found my daughter and I, threatened to kill her and I both if I didn't get back with him, etc. Trauma bonding is also a real thing, there's a psychology involved in this, it's much more than "Just leave". Also the law is not on your side in DV situations, it doesn't hold them accountable like it should. The woman eventually gets to a point where she finds a safe way to get herself and her children out of it, she just has to go through the process of it. It's easy to cast judgement and say all the stuff you "should do", so seeing someone with an understanding perspective like yours is refreshing, thank you for that.

I'm trying to shorten this as much as possible, the look in his face, and the quietness spoke volumes over him running his mouth, it screamed Steve I need help, but he was afraid to say it, you could see it clearly the way he shook his at head Steve when he asked him deep questions, he stopped mouthing Steve, and I believe he backed down from trying to be rude to Steve because he was only doing it to look good on TV to begin with, but that truth hit him, and I could tell he really did want Steve to help him he was afraid, but no man is going to stand there and take all of that and back off of going off, unless he has gotten to that stage of coming out of denial and wanting help just ashamed to say it aloud, I believe that he wasn't a waste of time for Steve to spend time with him, and I believe we'll hear from him again, for the girl she may never go back to him because some things you just can't repair the damage, and then again he may straighten up because I don't really think she wants to leave him. She just ran out of options and desperately called Steve. In the end either way I feel glad that she's going to get the help. I do hope if he is reading this message that he does reach out to Steve and get help for himself because I think he can change with some tough love that Steve gave him and I think he was ready for it he just was right there at that point of breaking and saying I need help and it just wasn't enough time on the show alone for it to get done. But his facial expression was priceless the way he shook his head quietly and nodded several times yes. They said the brain can lie but the body language cannot so all of that stuff he was putting out there was coming out of his mouth. 🤣 Sorry this Is so long... My Dr. says "you know what I'm saying, huh?" after every single sentence and he's the type but I love him. On Dec. 9th 2021 we found I had cancer, after he sent me straight to the emergency roomand they started to run test all over me.. I swear I never knew anything was even wrong with me but I am pretty much ate up with it, it's called small lung cell cancer. I woke up on 9th and my right leg wouldn't move and it still doesn't move when I stand up.. Come to find out I had 2 strokes and didn't even know.. crazy as it is, if not for the strokes that affected my leg, I probably would have died before the week was out I have brain, spine, lungs and liver cancer. When I we t back the next month he hugged me the second he came into the room.

@@brittany7jeffrey4I'm so sorry. Your in my heart and prayers. Keep fighting. My brother had it for about 2 years. Said it was clear through his body. They took some out of his brain. They said it was like mold spreading. But he even had it come outside of his neck. If he had done his treatments I feel he'd made it longer. So please do all you can. Get what years you can. Your in my heart and prayers. Hugs

Derrick The Clown was so silly. 😆 I'm laughing at him because he made himself look like a damn fool in front of Steve Wilkos & the studio audience but what he did to abuse his lady Karmela was still really sad. 😢

@ashleecantu64702 жыл бұрын
Steve needs to tell these women the truth. They are BAD mothers! If you keep your child in an abusive, dysfunctional chaotic environment, you are a child abuser. Period. You belong in jail. Also, stop using these kids as excuses to fulfill your own selfish desires. You don't care ab your kid having a father. You care ab your own sick relationship. It's pathetic and blatantly obvious.

I hate when steve says, why dont you call the cops? Because steve if you call the cops and he goes to jail or doesnt..it warrants an ass beating when the cops leave, or when he gets out and finds you...also love when steve instigates the abuser to get worked up. Only thing I think is, hes going to take all that out on her when they get home. Most of these women stay cause they have been isolated from friends and loved ones. Nowhere else 2 go.. I love steve, but sometimes he thinks 2 much like a cop still.
@donnayoung2150Күн бұрын
I agree. I've thought that too. I've seen shows where the guys give the girls that look and stare that they was going to get it after the show. I've never been in a abusive relationship. Got lucky and been with my husband since I was 15 n I'm 64 now. And Steve gives cops to much credit. I was raped by a cop. I think if your in a abusive relationship like what id do, I'd pack a little at a time and then when he was gone or asleep I'd leave
