The place is beautiful. I lived there and worked there for a number of years. I never tired of the mountains. Main cities are not my favourite , but the rural areas and mountains are really something!!

Great video! We camped at Highland Nook, near Underberg about 10 years ago when we drove through Lesotho from the Eastern Cape and exited down Sani pass. We stayed at the same at Katse dam and were able to do the dam wall tour which was an epic experience. The Katse Lodge was also still operating and we a great brunch and very decent Maluti Lagers. The botanical garden at Katse was also very interesting.

I've seen my share of mountains, including the Canadian Rockies and the Andes, but this scenery is stunning. I'm sad that I missed Lesotho in my world travels. Amazing that the mountainsides are being intensively farmed in some stretches. Look forward to seeing more videos here

This is my territory. Green Green Natal. I'm just down the road from "Notties" as we call it and all the hills around Howick are fully green. Four of us did that same drive in my Toyota 4D4 a few years ago, up Sani Pass to that hilltop bar and down back home again.

Another excellent video from you, thank you both. Lesotho still on my list of To Do. Christo, may I ask what is the height of your bakkie to the top of your closed tent? My garage door entrance is just 243cm - whilst I look for a rig like yours but rather a Hilux and not a LC. Thank you. Ian
@GetOutGOКүн бұрын
Thanks Ian! I think it’s 2,3m-something (2” lift, 33” tyres). My garage door height is 2,5m and there’s room to spare. I’ll double check for you. I had Alu-Cab’s Hilux with the modCAP in here as well and that wasn’t much lower
