Wow this song is amazing. DJ loves the breakdowns and the return with Robert Plant coming on strong in this one.

Bassist John Paul Jones said he was always proud of the fact that people could actually dance to Zeppelin's music because that wasn't the case at a lot of other shows at that time. Zeppelin had the quintessential "IT" factor that the majority can only dream of.

For me this is the best Led Zep, album I know there were bigger hits from some of the other albums like Stairway, and Kashmir, but the 2nd album every track was great.

We should all take part in the “ Zep-a-thon” like we did when we were growing up with Zep. Ken wood stereo…giant multiple speakers headphones plugged into the Jack….a bean bag chair….your choice of libations….and settle on in!!!! Long live the mighty Zeppelin!!!!!

I grew up with Zep! I am loving this series of taking him down the rabbit hole from the first album--can't wait for you to react to them at the O2 concert in London--they were in their 60"s about.

If you though Robert had soul had 19-21... you should hear Gregg Allman... the way he sang WHIPPING POST... he had that raspy "I've been drinking" voice when he was 16 years old. Or Eric Burdon singing THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN when he was 24 years old ... and sounded like he had been smoking for 50 years.

Has DJ heard Eruption? It might be worth mentioning that Eddie was important not only because he was such a monster player, but also because he was the first rock God I can think of that was not a hippie. Granted Zeppelin was killer and Hendrix was from another planet, but Eddie was, or so it seemed, one of us!

haha - this song is why I started buying their albums from 2 onwards. Rude or what? 😉 especially to a 50s girl - but then I recall the Beatles' Lady Madonna singing about baby at your breast and remember I thought that was pretty rude at the time, too! Hadn't heard about Chuck Berry's ding-a-ling yet! 😲
