Hired by the SFFD in 1979, He was a member of the Heavy Rescue Squad 2 from 1985 - 2008, (As a Captain, Lieutenant, and Fireman). Was promoted to Battalion Chief in June 2008 and Retired in December 2012. He responded to the Marlow Hotel (where he became trapped and rescued), El Capetian Hotel Fire, 395 Capp St. Fire , and Loma Prieta Earthquake in 1989.
Since retiring, he is a Partner with Northern California Rescue Training (NCRT). A company with five other firemen to provide technical rescue training for fire departments, USAR teams, private industry, community colleges and the US Marine Corp.

Great show as always. Proud to see a Kalifornistan firefighter.! Tony was one of the best bosses I ever had. He was all about training and physical fitness way before it was fashionable. He’d never ask you to do something he wasn’t ready to do himself. A bunch of us were sitting here debating whether or not you’d have on “Ms.” Laura Kavanagh, Chief of all Chiefs, Commissioner of all Scumbag Commissioners. It’d be nice to hear about all of her experiences on the job. It’s been heard that she has over 500 grabs and many lifesaving rope operations from above 100 stories. She clearly learned her skills from her bosses in Nazi Germany, especially her retaliation and retribution skills. All kidding aside, I am just shocked at the promotion of that evil shrew. Please do NOT comment on my comments. You guys still have to live in her area of operations. Seriously , thanks for a great show!

Hi Brothers.. I just found your channel when I heard Tony was going to be on. Is there any possibility of saving the Live Chats for future viewing? I’ve tried just about everything to get it to function, but no luck. I DO watch other channels where it works properly, so I’m not as stupid as I appear (and really am! 😉🤣). Seriously..
