It is good to see the diversity represented in this video. My fire service career was primarily in Conta Costa County during the 1970s. SFFD was always an inspiration for me even though I was not a "city boy". My admiration for every person who can graduate from this training academy and serve in the magnificent City by the Bay remains strong long after my career has ended. Congratulations to all Firefighters, from the city, to the suburbs, and the wildlands. Well done!

Diversity is important, but why is that all you are showing? Is there no place in the San Francisco Fire Department for everyone? Diversity includes more.
