I can't tell you how happy I am you listened to your body. I'm a stage 4 colon cancer survivor and I wish I had. As you're talking about getting ready for your ct, I kept thinking, "Oh know. She doesn't know she'll have to drink and get an IV!" I swear the worst part of digestion issues is all the gross things you have to drink to test. Yuck!

I'm so glad I went forward with seeing a specialist and getting the tests. The anxiety of wondering "what if?" was getting unbearable. Now at least I know it's nothing super serious like cancer. And lol, yeah, I knew that sometimes it could be one or the other on the drink or the IV, but I wasn't sure if I'd get both. Lucky me!

🍋🚴♂️ Wow, what a day you had, Andrea! Never had a CT scan (nor a colonoscopy or endoscopy) so I really appreciate you sharing these videos!

I'm glad I can share these experiences with you all. I figure if anyone needs to get these tests done one day hopefully these videos will show they're not that scary.

This is such a helpful vlog to me, I have fibromyalgia as well as CFS/ME and the unpredictable and worsening IBS as well as constant pins and needles/paresthesia is what I have been suffering with so much the last 6 months or so. Ugh, it's sometimes humbling to me how much chaos and suffering can all be chalked down to fibro and ME but I am always afraid it's something terrible (like colon cancer or MS). Medical anxiety is no joke. I am glad you got the tests done, the answers will be worth it. You're giving me the bravery to get some further testing done myself. xxxxx

When my IBS symptoms got worse I definitely was so anxious that it was something serious, like cancer, so I knew it would be worth it to get the tests done. If you feel you need further testing, I totally recommend. The peace of mind of knowing it really is just IBS has made a difference.

I had a head CT a few years ago with contrast - weird, weird, weird feeling. Definitely thought I'd wet myself. Yikes! Hope you feel better!🍋🚲🧦

When I had my appendicitis, I had to do a cat scan for that. They made me drink that disgusting pink dye. First, I don't drink that fast and second, it was so much of it! Wasn't drinkable...so gross...hope you feel better!

I was glad I was able to drink it ok at the office, but it really didn't agree with my stomach about an hour later lol.

I hope you’re feeling better and I’m glad to hear everything’s normal. I was giggling when you were talking about the iodine and the guy explaining what it would feel like going through your body. I had the iodine done years ago for something else and I remember asking the guy if I peed myself. He and the other guy kept laughing at me because of the comments I was making. 😂 What an experience! 🍋🧦
