I've recently drained 10 litres out of an old holden v8 from a paddock. Only about 2 litres of oil if that came out after the 10 litres of water. We pulled the engine staight down and because it was2 completely full and sealed there was no rust except a little bit of surface rust mud skurv in the oil pump gears witch we simply cleaned and was gone without a trace

Then check the exhaust pipe so it cannot be clogged up. You did unplug the spark plug and see if it needs cleaning and spark plug cable are very old and not good to use worn out burnt sparkolator cable only after you can read odometer High Mileage?
