just to let you know, a 300 black out and a 556 are very similar. they actually use the same magazine. different barrels those. the 300 blackout doesn't seat properly, but it will chamber in a 5.56 and vise versa.

300 blackout is a cut down modified 5.56 case with a 7.62 or 308 (30 caliber) projectile. Both use the same everything in the gun exactly except the barrel which is bigger 30 cal for 300 BO. 300 BO can come in all sorts of different projectile weights from super sonic 100 grain or less to subsonic 220 grain or more and everything in between. 300 BO can use .223 or 5.56 magazines, but some manufacturers have dedicated 300 BO mags with larger set back opened up feed lips for reliable feeding. You can load 5.56 into a 300 BO barrel and vice-versa. Both will chamber and seat because both cartridges are almost if not the exact over all length from tip to butt. Firing a 300 BO cartridge in a 5.56 barrel is a bad bad bad day! Don't do it! You will destroy the barrel and it will explode. 30 caliber is bigger diameter than 5.56 which is .224ish diameter. Other way around will work maybe, 5.56 in a 300 BO barrel but not be good, because projectile will come out of the barrel maybe, but at what cost? Might bounce around a little bit etc. Either way, don't mix these 2 calibers with opposites barrels. At minimum it will not fire, but 95% it will and it could be catastrophic bad day for anyone and I don't want that!

Lumping 7.62 NATO, x39, and x54R all together gave me a brain aneurism For those who don't know, .300 Blackout is between 5.56x45mm and 7.x62x39mm. Lumping all 3 different 7.62 calibers together is like lumping foxes, dogs, and wolves together and saying they're all the same because they're canids. You're not technically WRONG, but you ARE. 300blackout is 7.62x35. AKs use 7.62x39. Theyre extremely similar in size but the 300 is closer to the 9x39 the VSS uses. As in its a necked up cartridge to fit a larger diameter bullet meaning it can be easily suppressed and have good velocity from a shorter barrel. 300Blk is made by opening a 5.56 casting to 30cal. 9x39 is by opening a 7.62x39 up to basically 38cal.

Also you had 7.62x39 (Alpha AK) in the same category as 7.62x51(FAL) which is basically 308. There might've even been 7.62x54r in the same wheel, like the mosin or dragunov. And the Mk 18 is in the same wheel, its still just 5.56. This game is accurate enough that all those would matter. Maybe make a series where you pick a caliber or two or a operator and play a match with every gun. I know itd be hella long but I like long videos.

12:55 the Mosin Negant is chambered in 7.62 x 54mm R, whereas the AKM is chambered in 7.62 x 39mm, the FAL is chambered in 7.62 x 51mm NATO. There is GIANT differences in those different 7.62 Rounds, for example, 7.62 x 39mm is an intermediate cartridge whereas 7.62 x 54mm R is used with DMRs and LMGs... GIANT difference I get that u did that to shorten the overall length of the vid, just trying to teach some ppl
