After 40y of teaching and a lifelong love for Steinbeck it is here that I come across his quotes on teaching. Very touching. Thank you.

A crisp and sparkling talk. As an educator she holds seas of inspiration and emotions to link with students to guide and nurture the next generation as how to spend life in education and be productive member of society always. Thanks.

She truly is an inspiration and I'm so glad to have her as my teacher. She is brilliant, kind, absolutely strong, and has a wonderful sense of humor. Mrs. Lee is such a role model, and I hope that when I grow up, I can be just a little like her.

Outstanding testimony! Great teachers know that so much of teaching comes down to relationships. Students will always learn more from teachers with which they can identify personally and who are passionate about their subject matter. I love Lisa's (re)definition of the "common core," because she's right, education reforms will come and go, but great relationships will, and always have, fostered great learning.

I just saw this! I'm so glad you're going to be a REAL teacher! Relationships will always be the foundation of education, regardless of where you are from. Enjoy every minute - it goes by so quickly!!! However, I still love it as much as I did Day 1. Good luck!

Hi Lisa, I'm 23 years old, and I am on my on-the-job teacher training year at the moment in a school in South London. I absolutely love the kids, but often feel swamped with data, paperwork and deadlines (both from school and for my teachers qualification) that at times when I find myself drowning I wonder if I made the right decision. Thanks for reminding me why I picked such an important job, and I know it will get easier with time and experience. Jenna
