Getting Beadlocks On The 4 Lug Thug

In this adventure Shawn changed a small part on the cartel cruiser. Got that done and started putting beadlocks on the 4 Lug Thug, it’s sure looking a lot better.

I just watched a video from Fox 13 Utah that they posted yesterday stating Moab had that same river do some serious damage in 2022, They got State and Federal Funding to fix various areas of that river. It was said if that rain event would have lasted longer than it did, there would have been more damage. This storm did close some businesses near this river and Shawn showed us too.

@@kevbev1524 We just had a bad forest fire in the Southern part of NM 7 days ago and then they got 2 inches of rain the next day and the fresh burn scar material coming down the canyons did some damage. NE NM also got a lot of rain last weekend and the burn scar again caused some damage. FEMA is just now paying for the lost homes and businesses, and this was 2 years ago. If I had to live in a tornado state and it took my home the first time, I would have rebuilt most of it underground, so I'd still have a home.

Those old school tire changing method's beating on the tire and using hand irons gotta love it. LOL Had some of that high winds and rain here this evening. At one point I got a weather advisory on my phone stating that my area was expected to get winds of 80mph and possible baseball size hail. Got the wind but thankfully not the hail.

Use a high lift jack to break the bead. Straight dish soap for sealing up tire no water

Before Shawn got employment with Rory, he worked some years at a tire store, He most likely could show us some more tricks we don't know about. This was the 1st time I have seen a pickaxe to remove a tire off the bead. I have seen sledgehammers used.

Great show Shawn. That was a heck of a storm glad you didn't have to go out to rescue people and rigs. You showed a bit of what a flash flood is, I would love to be able to see how some of thetrail areas are during a flood like that but do not want to see people endangered.

That was some crazy rain I wouldn't have wanted to be out in that. A lot of rain all at once can be dangerous. I like the improvements to the buggy You should talk to Colt he has a tool that makes taking tires off the rim easier

Big storm hit us hard last night. Blew down Trees and they fell on roads and houses and vehicle's. Looked outside and hail was falling hard last night. Glad no one died on The Menominee Indian Reservation in Wisconsin

101 in bishop california today, then it started dumping rain which was great.

I got 105 in Central NM today, and 65 % humidity. I live in a semi-rural greenbelt area. High heat and 20% humidity and I do ok but high humidity is not fun. If you don't have an electrolyte, then minimum of 1 cup or 8 ounces of water per hour per person in the heat. Stay tuned it is going to get even hotter.
