All my vehicles are blue , black or silver . I do have 1 yellow mjx crawler , 2 green and 2 red . I prefer blue or black . Love the scale news 🎉

I like to paint mostly rare factory, dealer, or famous race version of RC's. I'm currently working on a "Golder Eagle Jeep" for my Veterra crawler. I'd love to build a 1967 "Black Panther" Camero (only 50 of those were made). I'm also working on my first comp crawler and plan on doing an external unique camouflage pattern in flat. Still love your show.

Good Question….. for me I always try to change it up. Try to never use the same color more than once. Btw…. My first Jeep was a 95 YJ. It was the same green in the gloss finish!

For paint I always do a Green as the primary color. Then add Gray, Black or White 2 tone usually

When I raced all rc cars I had a similar paint scheme and color combo. It was easier to find your car if you were just looking for one color.

Everything in my fleet is different. I have too many to list but... There is the Chevy beater in my profile picture, a Manga style orange beetle, purple and gray sandrail, my Baja Rey is my state flag(AZ), coming soon will be a drift car with a Uhaul (or some rental) pick up body.

I only use black, gunmetal paints... semi-black too and matt finishes too or a combo of both gloss and flat. also use a hoonigan pattern on my trucks

All my trucks (a whopping 4 at the moment) are different colors. Even the two sets of Wraith bodywork, stock panels with urban camo Freqeskinz and red/black Wrangler body, are completely different. The only matching trucks I've had were a Slayer Pro and Slash with 4 Wheel Parts bodies.

I like to see color on other peoples' vehicles, but for my own I tend to stay mostly monochromatic with white paint and matching wheels being my absolute favorite. I feel the same about full size vehicles as well.

I've (unintentionally) gone mostly blue racers & red crawlers. A red Mojave Grom ordered, have a red Vanquish Optic H10, currently building a red/white/black Nitto JP Gomez UFO U4 replica, red Losi Hammer Rey trophy Jeep body on an Scx6. Blue Losi promoto mx, blue/white/black Brian Kinwald Worlds rc10, blue/black/red rc10t re-release truck, skyblue/yellow/white schumacher xls cat and a red/white/yellow Losi Mini T. It seems I like blue & red. A lot lol. 🔵🔴

My cars usually end up painted with Tamiya Corsa gray with red wheels or wheel parts on the left and green on the right. Once in a while I go crazy and spray some Lame flake metallic before the gray. 👍🏻

Mine end up Blue or green on occasion, but different shades of each.(with plenty of rust) I grew out of my Military/camo route a few years ago. Olive Drab and Desert Sand can get a little old after a while.

I want all of my trucks to look different. My first kit build was an SCX 10.3, painted it in as close a color I could get to the JKU Red. Second truck (Phoenix Portal) is comparable to the Toyota Concrete grey, and my most recent body is a black on forest green Origin Pro. So there's a lot of variety, but bag o skittles it is not.

Both my trucks, a green deadbolt and a grey c10, have factory bodies and paint but I've chopped the bodies up a bit. I like matching in certain situations, race teams and car clubs come to mind, but mostly my cars would be different styles and colors. That being said, i may choose an accent for all my cars to have the same, like maybe one green headlight or a mismatched wheel in the back, something weird and unusual 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘🍻🤘

Jjrc just came out with a 1/10 scale Willy’s jeep with leaf springs and a winch and it’s 60-80 bucks depending on where you get it. It’s pretty awesome

It varies for my crawlers, rally cars or anything I have just for fun the color palette is whatever I felt looked good at the time or made to look like a real 1:1 race car. Anything I’m actually racing like 1/10 buggy, 1/10 truck (but not short course) tend to be whatever my color combination is for the season (usually a lot of blues or orange) my OnRoad cars and short course truck bodies tend to be something simple quick and easy, painted with all the care MACCO gives a yellow cab because they rarely last more than a couple race weekends so I don’t spend a lot of time and energy painting them

For your question, I used to only paint my cars in my racing colours (blue and gold) but with different styles. However these days I like to change colour schemes depending on what looks best for the body I'm using. For example, my hpi savage x 4.6 has a 70's Ford f150 body painted copper with a big white stripe on each side for a classic look

Different trucks different colors. I do try to choose colors that will pop on the trail. Stay away from earth tones that will blend into the backgrounds.

when it comes to scale stuff I like to go with things that are a bit garish, things you wouldn't do with a real truck. I've got a Tamiya jeep YJ body mated to an MST CMX chassis atm, and the plan is to paint it up with some incredibly striking 80's gradient graphics, think like a vintage jetski. I'm gonna match this with some deep chrome rims to make a very ostentatious period custom.

The 49Sub Micro Servo is a rebadged AGFRC A06CLS v2. Those servos (v1 and v2) have been around for at least 3 years (when I first bought mine). Robski Fabrication has a SCX24 winch mount available for preorder that looks pretty nice.

All but one of my Traxxas vehicles are blue, and only because I got it second hand and haven't bought a new body for it yet. And I won't own a full-size car unless it's white. But I live in Florida, so that's a good reason.

I try to change it up for every build, that way each has it's own personality of sorts, and it doesn't seem as redundant taking them out for some run time. Choosing the color scheme is usually the hard part, but sometimes like my Capra or my VRD it would seem that these things just happen as if it were meant to be all along.

I tend to plan out colors per build, I try and figure out mainly what I want it to look like before I start but I do tend to go town blues an greys a lot I’ve noticed. I want to do some more flashy/ bright builds

As an amateur airbrush artist, I can't have 2 paint jobs looking alike and I feel a permanent need to out do myself with each one. My craziest one to date is a rat rod chop top fj40, covered in rusty iron panels and graphics, including miss piggy monroe on the doors. I call it the "Iron Pig" and it's all painted on the inside, giving the rat rod a glossy clear coated look 🙂

First, regarding the new subMicro servo from Reef's, based on it's dimensions, and the mount design, I'm 99.999% certain it's aimed at the 1/27 scale (ie. Mini-Z size) market of kits. Getting to this week's question, my answer is 6 of one, and a half dozen of the other. Not counting pre-painted RTRs, many of my vehicles (including boats) have a specific Red Bull-based theme, utilizing a 2-tone blue 'geometric' base. As for the rest of my vehicles, they consist of a variety of colors, some 'solid' with 1-2 colors, and others being multi-colored designs. The majority of those with the Red Bull theme are race vehicles/vessels...but, there are some (such as my Losi Baja Rey, ProBoat SonicWake, and a large-scale one that I won't disclose, but should have a video for fairly soon) that aren't race vehicles.

Choosing color is probably the most difficult. It’s hard to stray too far from the traditional color palette. That said, Crawlers, generally are easier to decide colors than my Drift car shells. My crawlers all have different paint jobs and colors, and I do try and get influence from real 1:1 rigs, but also make it a point to try and not copy the colors of some of my crawling friends and their choices. My Drift cars are a bit harder, since many 1:1 drift cars have extensive livery that are hard to replicate with paint, and paying for livery decals, especially some of the drift livery’s out there can often be more than the lexan body they are going on.😊

7:23 Especially the exisiting Sanwa / Airtronics users please pay attention! The M17S seems to no longer support the older receivers with FHSS3 and FHSS4 standard. Since the FHSS4 receivers got pirated, Sanwa seems to be trying to force those into irrelevance. Now we get new radios that no longer work with our old receivers, the true price of getting "cheap third party receivers"...

As full size goes my pickup and my Harley are both silver lol however for RC trucks I want each truck to be a different color and paint scheme. Don't normally match the wheels to the color but usually try do an accent color and match the wheels to that.

I try to have my tiny truck's all different colours but have ended up with 3 Green ones ( fluro green, candy green apple and a bright green, out of 10 trucks)

It’s funny, my friend and I were discussing that very question last weekend. I prefer my trucks to be a variety of colors. I can’t stand seeing every one of someone’s trucks being the same color or color scheme, it just seems cookie cutter and unimaginative. I usually decide on a color based off of the year of the body or the style of build I’m doing. I love blue, but I only have one blue truck because I like variety. Every truck has its own personality because they’re all built in a different way.
