Speedway parts come from Australia so they put the shipping cost on their parts so that’s the reason for the sharp increase in cost. Also Summit Racing dropped them because of deceptive pricing and very poor Chinese made parts that they sell as name brand. Yep

Somebody's gonna want to kill me but we had a hood exactly like dudes that we used to pull behind the snowmobile back in Maine when I was a kid. It was a blast!😁 Hey Chad we just had a violent storm roll through here (central Texas) and it looks like it's heading your way. Lot's of lightning, tornadoes, flooding and hail. Be safe! 🙏

Excellent video Chad :) also yes this vechiles update has lots surprises to and modify on some also challenges too do! But well done so far Chad :) actually like Copper type brake lines and found rust up as fast like others do too ! I started used them in 2009 year and did with my vehicle and other! No complaints from me!

Just watched this again. I had to laugh when you were removing the steering box. You were trying to get the box off the steering shaft. Two whacks with the hammer, then a jump cut and you’re slicing it with the grinder. You dont mess around Mister Chad. Good for you!!
@txdbstx8967
@txdbstx8967 24 күн бұрын
You need to use coil spring compressors and make sure the bottom of the coil springs are properly seated in the cups. Along the coil spring ratings you have coil spring diameter and height. You need to get the correct height springs for your desired ride height. The stand off collet needs to be snug on the steering shaft. It WILL vibrate going down the road and should like a monkey with a claw hammer banging underneath your truck. From my experience building these model Chevy trucks since I was 15 years old, the frame rails on the pre 1954 models are usually out of wack at least a little bit. No surprise there. There’s other DIY IFS options as well. such as the Dodge/Chrysler Volare graft which in your case wasn’t a viable option. Sort out your spring height. That’s your biggest issue. Go buy or rent coil spring compressors and you will be set.

You really need to see someone that specializes in sports medicine. Big difference in how they help you. When I was younger I twisted my knee and ignored it. 25 years later I was in agony. Lucky for my I broke my wrist 😂. A dr walking by saw how I was walking and called me in. He took one look at it felt the joints and gave it a yank and twist. Man if I didn’t want to deck him😅. But I walked out straight and true. 15 years later I’m still good.
