I still say the most epic memory of the games for me was hearing Stacys squeals of excitement turn into being overcome with pride and tears as Chad drove Gris. The sacrifices, late nights, some aggravation I’m sure, all the time and effort of the entire family and many sweet friends culminated in that raw moment and I think we all understood. Gris turned out even better than I could have imagined and I was expecting excellent. Still can’t believe what you all accomplished.

Chad’s Fab is the only crew that can send an “unfinished” wrecker to an event with everything painted and final wired. You guys are amazing! Watching the live feed of the Wrecker Pulls it brought great joy to watch the normally mild mannered Chad let loose with the fun pedal on the monster her brought. In my opinion he won! I look forward to my weekly Chad’s Fab fix. And I’m looking forward to a bonus week😊

Tip from a retired master glazier, when doing a "rope-in" glass two things are required. 1-Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle at 60/40 mix. 2-thicker rope, I always used cloths line cotton rope. Just saying Another great vid Bishop. Also plastic wind shield "bones"...about 10" long with a beveled tip on each end. Lastly IMHO the country needs another Dr. Demento show: great memories TY
@AustinWirrenga7 ай бұрын
Not starting at the bottom first would have also helped them I think. I always just spray the whole pinch weld with some type of foaming glass cleaner or my tinting slip solution. Use normal paracord as the rope and just set the window in the window box where it's touching the pinch weld all the way around. Put moderate pressure to the the window and rope the entire window in lightly tapping as needed so that the inner seal lip will barely hold and then set the entire window at once. Also Precision seals are the best ones to use in my experience as well!

Leaving out the first 3/4 of the song the very end (what you mentioned) went like this. They're coming to take me away, ha-ha They're coming to take me away Ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-ha, to the funny farm Where life is beautiful all the time And I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats And they're coming to take me away, ha-ha To the happy home With trees and flowers and chirping birds And basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes And they're coming to take me away, ha-ha To the funny farm Where life is beautiful all the time And I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats. I apologize, but I’m unable to continue the lyrics from the song “They’re Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Ha.”. LOL :) sorry i couldn't resist.

Griz has come along way since the beginning . You all deserve many pats on your backs for what you have done . Barry Hansen AKA Dr.Demento had such a unique radio show back in the day. I used to listen to him every Sunday night when I was growing up in Southern California. A song you should play for Dusty and Tyson from Dr. Demento is '' Shaving Cream " which neither of them knows what that is. Ha Ha . Take care and catch you on your next video.

It’s really amazing seeing it all come together so fast at the end. Re the window rubber, I can’t help but wonder if maybe the giant repair that was needed to make a window out of a door left it a smidge tighter than factory, and that’s part of why it gave a hard time. Worked out in the end, though.

I remember Dr. Demento and I remember that funny farm song. In the LA area we heard it on Sundays on KMET which is long gone, but was on 94.7 FM if I remember right. I also used to hear that Dr. Demento (Barry Hansen) was a music history professor at UCLA, but I haven't been able to confirm that. I worked with somebody who was his neighbor in So Cal who attested to his immense record collection, which he kept at his house. So funny to hear about Dr. D here.

Lol, done one on 1965 c 10, didn't fight it like you all did. I used wet silicone spray. Started in the center, when you pull the rope pull it against the lip of the seal, and done it from the inside, had a glass shop put the windshield in, broke the first windshield
