Dude thinks he has answers for the music industry, but don't even understand the industry of music. He still think there is value in selling albums. There ain't. You sell albums for a loss now. The money is all made 20 years later during some big brand ad campaign. The music industry sells a sense of nostalgia and/or familiarity with a product, service, or political idea to advertising agencies. Selling music to people and helping artists "get heard" has nothing to do with it and hasn't for decades. Man's living in a delusion trying to solve for watermelon when the problem is about apple revenue.

He’s not suggesting there’s value in selling albums. It’s about streaming, building an audience, getting in front of the right people who actually like your music. This is nowadays done through Spotify, TikTok, etc. Nothing to do with album sales
