For the journalistic philosophy, it is similar to somone trying to grind out a video game to obtain a high rank and every chance they get, they play the game. So possibly to obtain this focus, they would need a strong motivation / goal and would be competing with others to get this goal.

@@CorporatePantsula Might be true for people like me but you‘ll never know, if you have such a mindset. The ongoing boycott however showed already that it is indeed working - many on those lists (e.g. McDonald’s, Starbucks, Dominos) lost billions (!) of dollars in market value since the boycott started. 🙂

@ I also wouldn't discourage someone who is standing up for (black) people's rights. I also wouldn't say to that person (no matter in what era of time it would be): hey, listen, this isn't doing anything - people are still racist. Sounds kinda stupid, right?

@@alisahin3166 I’m not into that woke BLM nonsense. The fact that you’d just assume that is exactly the problem. McDonald gained over 40% over the last 5 years. Starbucks didn’t lose billions due to boycotting, what about the last 3 times it almost got bankrupt? It wasn’t boycotted then right? But it still lost billions. I don’t think its losing billions because of that even now. Its probably because Howard Schultz stepped down cause it always loses billions when that happens.
