If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend you line the potato and onion bins with some newspaper. Helps to absorb moisture from any that might have gone soft due to bruising.

Great job, everything looks fabulous AND functional! One quick recommendation I’d have though is maybe move the potato basket to the other side of the pantry floor; onions produce a gas that can actually age potatoes, so maybe even just putting the cutting boards between them may help in their longevity

I giggled a little when you found the bag of marbles. When our children were all at home, I always had a bag of marbles with my baking supplies. When you add a cupcake liner to your pan, put a marble between the liner and the pan and it forms a heart. I always made my childrens cupcakes in the shape of a heart...especially for our RED Valentines day dinner and dessert. I miss those days

Omg, i felt your pain throughout this process! Organizing is harder than the cleanup. It's time consuming too. The key to keeping the pantry and anything else orderly, is always putting things back in the right place after use. When we use an item and then don't put it back in it's proper place, chaos begins. At least I find this to be true about my pantry. I have been ignoring my pantry for while now and I'm afraid to go in there lol.

I love how you stop and take snack breaks and talk to us! Oh Kim, when you were saying, "somebody please come over and help me" - I love to organize and I wish I lived in Florida. I would've loved to help you with this! You appear to be a "ladybug" organizer (me too) and we do not do well with decanting everything. (It is so smart to put your overstock behind your decanted items!) When you go with your natural organizing style, it is so much easier to keep up with it. We do better with bins and large categories. You nailed this!!! It is so much easier to grocery shop when your pantry is organized, because you can see what you are low on. Looks great! FYI, a great thing to use to store your grocery plastic bags hangs in a wall and you stuff the bags into it. On Amazon, its a semi circle with hols in it. You can fit a ton of bags in it too! I have it on the wall on my pantry.

Whoo, girl, you don't need to shop for 4 more months. Inventory your pantry/ fridge and freezer, then create menus from what you already have. Only add to your grocery list the items needed to complete your menus. It will save you so much money

Cleaning from the top down helps to prevent having to sweep over again. Looks great Kim!! Wish we had a bigger pantry. We live in my childhood home. I should be thankful this 1987 home has a pantry. I do love this house so much. My dad (he passed in 2012) was a building/home designer and designed this house and many many more on the east coast. This house means so much to me. It’s a colonial, it looks like a house in colonial Williamsburg. I remember as kid walking around Colonial Williamsburg while my mom & dad as got ideas from different homes/buildings. That actually was a fun memory.

I love what you did with your reorganization. It's hard to admit that we sometimes got to do the work especially after moving. Making it your own so that it meets yours and the familiy's needs and works for what you need for your your time in the kitchen most efficiently helps you and that's important too! In my world it's just me as my kids are grown and gone and I am single in a smaller apartment in a major metro. I love reorganizing something when I can so it's nice to see what others do with their spaces even if my needs may be different. Options are good!

amazing job! I started doubling up on food stock last year, i dont have a pantry so I really had to seriously reorganize my kitchen shelves. I have gotten so many good ideas and inspiration online. Now i'm going to reorganize my closet and use part of it for overflow of big bulky items like boxes of keurig cup coffee's etc. Pantry organized, fridge organized. It feels good.
