Gladys, I am very happy for you that you got hired for a job aboard a cruise ship instead of working as an OFW...! There are so many cases of maltreatment and abuse of Filipino workers. You will also travel and see the World. I did the same thing in the U.S. Navy. Congratulations and safe Travels...!

And if she wants to be a flight attendant she maybe able to apply in the countries she visits. It all depends on their regulations but worth looking into.

Yes my friend and her mom stayed in malate for 1k a night. Arrived Monday and return Wednesday. She had to get voters card to complete her passport. Yes USA visa a big deal 😀 good luck in you future job.😊

Two things. 1. I have another condo in BGC area in Manila let me know if you need some place else to stay. 2. Check under the sink to see if there is a hot water tank you have to turn on in your hotel.

Congratulations Gladys! I hope you can also get the personal one as well! That way you will be able to fly to the US someday soon. At least we will finally get the chance to meet you if your ship docks at a port near where we live in the US. Hopefully your ship comes to NYC🤞🏾😃

They get suspecious when you talk about anything outside what youre there for. After you get to the state, there are a lot of ways to change your Visa. A lot of filipinos in the cruiseline business

When you are on the cruise ship you will learn that it is ok to complain when something doesn't work (you will probably hear plenty of complaints that you can do nothing about). You should ask for a different room or if they can fix your air conditioner. Too bad they don't have hot water for the shower or even provide some complimentary bottles of drinking water. Congratulations on the job Gladys. You say it took a long time but it's only really been a year from deciding to go for your dream career combining your customer service skills and love of travel to joining an agency, getting all your qualifications and a job offer to work on cruise ships operating out of a foreign country on the other side of the world. Your skills, talent, hard work and determination have been rewarded and nobody earned it but you, it was not given freely. You should be as proud of yourself as we are of you. 🫂💞
