You make an impact on a lot of people through your youtube channel and that's a significant accomplishment by 24. Most people don't have the guts to do anything like that and end up not pursuing their passions. I don't think that makes you inadequate or below average if anything above average. I don't believe how much money you make from a job correlates to the importance of it. I think it's more based on impact and how much you enjoy it because if you want it you will do it the best. I believe you will do well in your future goals, you seem like a really good, wholesome, dedicated person. No need to feel down on yourself.

You are way further ahead than most people I know in late 20s and early 30s even. I'm 27 and still feel far behind. Can't afford a house yet, no serious gf or substantial enough savings. Got a new job making 10k more but with inflation, it doesn't feel substantial enough.

Happy birthday! I feel like you certainly have your life figured out more than most people your age. I got married young (just shy of 21) and feel like I didn't really start figuring out my life until 25. That's when I went to therapy for a year and worked through a ton of childhood trauma that I hadn't even realized I had. Now at 31 and 2 kids later I like who I am a lot better than who I was in early 20's, but still figuring stuff out all the time!

I feel the same way. I am turning 25 next year and alike you I felt super accomplished to have finished undergrad in 3 years, and get salaried after 6 months of landing my first big girl job. And oh boy that has change so much this past year. But it's true what they say. You don't have to have your life figured out at any certain age. You live and you learn. Congrats on the wedding, wishing I was MUA to do your makeup for free, lol. But I am nothing close to being good at makeup in general. Love your genuine content

One can’t measure how “ahead” or “behind” we are based off of marriage, kids, or buying a house- we all have things happen at different times and it’s neither good or bad. Personally I feel what’s important is how present I feel each day, how connected I feel, how I’m taking care of myself and my relationships/home/passions. Also, sure 25 is a quarter but the first 20 years when you’re born and growing up will not be the same when you compare how much you did from 0-25 vs 25-50 because 25 you’re more aware of being alive (if that makes sense). Just some thoughts❤ happy birthday!

Finally got around to watching Macy. I will say at 28 I do have a lot of things I want to be further ahead. One being having my house built... Always some obstacle now its 8% mortgage rates. But I also think depending on the person its good to have that bit of anxiousness about am I doing enough, if that makes sense. Think it can be useful to make sure you are assessing your choices and if really on right path you want. As well with being in finance the biggest part is compounding what you've done so far. Which goes back to assessing what want/doing and if compounding to eventually what you want. But happy belated birthday and keep up the work.

Happy Birthday Macy! I'm 49...50 real soon. Haha I could be your mom. You're so young and you have accomplished so much. You will definitely accomplish so much more. You are on a great path. Enjoy being in your 20s and don't worry about it being early, mid or late 20s. It's not important. Good luck with everything you do!! 😊 I love seeing your mom in the videos.

Happy birthday!!!! We all miss your videos. hope things are going better since you stepped back from KZbin a bit. As someone who is almost 30 don't wana hear how getting old sucks from someone who isn't even half way threw their 20s yet. As far as being where you want to be at this point in your life no one is ever truly where they want to be at any given age, there will always be more that you will wish you could have accomplished, but on the other hand look at where you are vs most other people. How many people can say they work for themselves or that they have multiple sources of income? On the non-financial side, how many people can truly say they love the person they are with, or are as close with their family as you are? Look at your KZbin channel and the thousands of people who follow you and watch your videos, or your fitness classes and the people you help with that. You have pushed yourself to the point of almost breaking multiple times to get to where you are now, take some pride in how far you've come and what you've accomplished.

I think I felt this way at 24. I was so young and already graduated from my masters program and was working my first job living on my own. I ended up getting married at 27 and husband and I bought a house right before my 30th birthday. I’m now 33 with a 16 month old and hoping to have another baby within the next year. I don’t know if I’ve arrived or figured it yet but I know I feel happy and thankful for where God has taken me on this journey. We all have our own path to follow and it may not looks exactly like someone else’s but that doesn’t mean we are wrong or even they are necessarily. There are many routes to take to get to our destination. Stop comparing and focus on what you have (not what you don’t) this can bring attitude of gratitude and thankfulness sparks joy. You are doing wonderfully and have so much to give and you are no where near finished. Happy birthday and congratulations on your coming nuptials🎉

You're literally talking through the thoughts many had, will have had, and have had - i.e., this is that thing, although you may not feel it now, has shown that just showing up and doing the thing, as you are with KZbin= the building blocks for the future. The macro view, this all makes sense, in the moment, it's easy to not see it as such It's good you share, both for your sanity+the viewer's perspective understanding. I can say keep up the great work etc but I think you may benefit from (and I just got out of this 'rut' feeling hence sharing) from appreciating how far you've come and what's going well (like you said fitness+relationship) and then figure out what is the immediate next step to start the momentum for where you wanna find progress/success next. So basically, keep up the great work lol but know that you got here by doing X number of steps over time and the ebbs and flows are the reasons we can appreciate the 'at the top' feeling too - you got this Macy 💪💪

I'm late to this because I'm just scattered lately but outside disagreeing with you on 24 being mid-20s (lol), I think I can relate to you. To share, I was supposed to be the child who had it figured out. Without getting too much into it, I inherited a lot of debt because of family and I went to college on a scholarship for engineering because I thought I just wanted money - partially to be pay said debt. Well, I dropped out at 21 when I lsot my scholarship, got lost but actually figured out what I wanted to do at 23. (I cried when I could finally have internet at home) At 24, I got a job that I really loved and closed out a lot of my goals and thought I figured most of it out. Well at 27, finally paid of family debt, already bought a motorcycle, got engaged AND still don't have all answers and now I'm 28 - I still am confused. I'm still down at times but I'm okay. :) It doesn't get really easier- I think. You just learn to deal with the feelings more.

Sounds like you kinda figured it out by the end of the video, and the comments below reinforce this. This feeling is normal. I remember this from when I was that age, and it was tough. While it is normal, those feelings that you are having are real and just knowing that they are normal does not make them go away. Not sure if you have already done it, but I suggest that you see therapist. They are good for people and they can help most everyone.

You've got 6 years still in your 20's just to try things, travel as a young person, enjoy life pre-kids if you're thinking of having kids, and do things like get lost in weird places and explore tough situations.

It's got to be symmetric. 0, 1 and 2 are early, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are mid, and 7, 8 and 9 are late. This ensures that you have the same amount of time in the early part as in the late part (3 years each), with 4 in the mid part. Also, the exact halfway point of the decade is the beginning of the 5 birthday - the mid part can be defined by being within two years (in either direction) of that point.
