Hey! Happy that I checked in. Way up here in Washington State, the news is flooded (I admit, that's probably not a great adjective to use) about the hurricane in FL. Dental work is stressful even for "normal" people; of course everyone has their own personal levels of discomfort. The most important thing is that you DID get your exam done. That's just another *huge* thing out of the way. I know that it sucks, but let the pros handle it. You are a bit lucky, though! I wish they'd knock me out just so I don't have to hear the music. =D Try to find a way to make peace with the anesthesia, and you will be so thankful that you did. I really wish I could have something more impactful to say, but it seems your comment audience pretty much said it all. Please be well and keep safe! Thanks for sharing.

You've made soooo much progress, though! I'm proud of you! Depression sucks... trust me, I know haha. But it's awesome that you're trying to make progress. Going to the dentist was a huge step. I hope you can get all your dental stuff worked out soon! I had to get my wisdom teeth out a month or so ago and took meds beforehand to sedate me, but luckily I wasn't very nervous to begin with. It's weird, walking out my front door gives me anxiety, but my anxiety was practically nonexistent when it came to having teeth pulled. Probably because I was too busy worrying about something else that day, haha. I mean, I know that sounds funny but it's totally true. I get intense anxiety about the most irrational things and then when there's something I should be anxious about I just don't respond to it because I have no energy left. I guess it's how I cope. Anyway, I hope you're doing ok and don't forget that I'm still here if ya ever want someone to vent to. :)

I have had IV twilight surgery to pull a tooth and it was wonderful! It is not that bad and you will not feel a thing! They will keep you for a while afterwards to make sure you will recover from the sedation. I told my husband that I wanted to take the stuff home because I was feeling so good!

I'm so proud of you! You made so many accomplishments in this video. Oh and dont worry about the dentist. I usually go a few times a year and I panic about being numbed too.. but the give me the laughing gas and then I dont care about anything LOL I just stare at the ceiling and zone out 😂 I wish they could give me laughing gas for job interviews 😂😂

Hey. If you are ever in a bad spot and need a random person to chat/message to my skype name is TheFatColonel. I have had the same issue as you (agoraphobia/dissociation disorder) for a while and know exactly what you are going through. You are not alone! Its shitty but you can get through it. I find when I am feeling shit it helps to speak to someone just to ground myself a little. Just the distraction alone helps me. Sorry about what happened to your teeth, dental problems is a huge fear of mine. Let them put you to sleep and do what they can, everything will be so much better afterwards. Don't get hooked on those hydros!

if i had 2 get teeth out i get implants but thy cost thousands per tooth in uk u go 2 a dif dentist dus that u need 2 get put 2 sleep 4 it as its a op u b ok but u can get bridges put in glued 2 ur teeth next 2 them, hope u b ok keep us up 2 date way it
