Great day in your kitchen! YEA! I adore pickled red onions on BBQ pork sandwiches. I use my canned pork chunks and just fork them them up - add some Baby Rae's sweet sauce - pile on the onions and use onion rolls = oh I'm hungry now@, but can't eat until I add some sharp cheddar. I know what for my supper tonight.

I agree! Dipped down close to freezing here last few days. Love making sourdough bread, soup, anything that heats the oven.

Thank you to one of my friends for pointing out some incorrect information I gave. When making the pickled beets you want to waterbath can them for 30 minutes, Not 15 minutes (I was reading a different recipe). Thank you again @madmecyr for pointing that out.

Do you have a video on how you do your garlic? I am getting ready to process garlic and I usually put it in the food processor until it’s graded finally and then add enough olive oil for it to stick together and use a tiny 1 tablespoon scoop, but your garlic lookslike it would be more accurate measurements and easier to store in the freezer.

I believed I showed it in one of last year‘s videos, but I honestly can’t remember. I won’t be freezing anymore until next years harvest in July. But, I just use a food processor and then freeze it in little cube ice trays, pop it out and keep it in the freezer. I don’t use any olive oil the garlic stays together without it.

I'm going tohave to check other books because I did pickled beets yesterday and the book said 30min for canning. I'll compare a few recipes....

Oh no, I definitely said the wrong thing. 🤦🏼‍♀️You are absolutely correct. They are 30 minutes. I was reading the directions for the pickled 3 bean salad which is above the pickled beets recipe ! Thank you for pointing that out.
