I have no reason to watch this since I don't have pythons just a hognose and I don't plan on breeding but I'm still here watching since your videos are fantastic. You do a great job at presenting information in a way everyone can understand and seem to have a great personality. Hope to see you at an expo someday.

I bought a sweet old school looking leather back blank book that looks like a bible , it’s now my snake bible , I dig it. Oh damn that’s awesome 😎 I had no idea on Retics that wagging is no good with Them , interesting, I’m trying to find a few pairs of off the beat pythons , picked up a female water python and Blackheads , really digging roughscaled pythons and Bismarck’s

Do you feed heavy in the beginning of the season because females exhibit stronger food drive or just to boost calories for follicle growth?

You didn't say anything about temperature manipulation. Is this not necessary for retics?

Great video and keeping records on everything is the way to go, l have books filled with info, mostly behaviour that l hope will oneday benefit everyone. l dont breed though l have bred my Coastals once and l found them spending time out together on the off breeding time was what got them to breed well come breeding season and noted this one year with my male and another female, my female would not have anything to do with him, so l just let them spend time together on the off season hanging out with one another in the room. Next breeding season my female was happy to accept him, now could have been the year before she was not wanting to breed but being a 5 year old girl saw all the signs she was in that mode but didnt like my male at this time. l was not thinking to breed them so l had to keep my eye on them out and about because they would have bred right in front me LOL Would love to attend a Carpetfest but a little bit too far away for me but sure need more of these things here in Queensland Australia.
