Bright colors on the deck are best for the search and rescue people should you break down.our tug is navy grey,, with white deck and trim👍👍. Carry on!
@randogame44382 ай бұрын
@@jerrydutra3225 Ok shipmate, I don't think I even mentioned colors on the deck. During my time in the US Navy we had a saying "haze gray, underway!" as all US Naval vessels are haze gray except under the waterline. Having rescue beacons giving gps location and bright colors on your ship makes more sense for civilian vessels, understanding they don't blend with white caps on stormy seas. Carry on!

@timhyatt91852 ай бұрын
that is so cool that you have enough systems on board to be on par with larger warships for at least training purposes. Definitely a step towards what you were hoping to do! I do hope you'll be allowed to continue filming and share the journey, but I could see them not wanting that as well. While it's really nice opportunity, some caution is needed, or it could turn into a more permanent thing and you'd never be able to do the other things you hope to do.

If you have a 'Select-able' hammer drill, you can remove the handle from a cheap chisel and chuck it into the drill set on hammer only. It's great for cleaning hard surfaces without having to swing a hammer all day! If the chisel shank is tapered, you might have to grind it round, but every 'welder' is a whiz at grinding... Yay, Go Navy! You'll finally get to work with a full crew and iron out all the pesky problems that involves! 🤙🥳
