Well I think we ARE kindred spirits! If no other reason than I too LOVE old grainy episodes of Martha Stewart Living, filmed in her Turkey Hill kitchen and gardens. When I was 15, we got our first satellite dish (as opposed to the aerial antenna before) and watching her on satellite tv began my love of all things domestic at that young age. 55 and never lost it. Hence me watching YOUR channel now! 😊 We too had the SAME issue with mouse deposits of dog food only it was my dryer. The repairman said he didn’t know why we hadn’t had a fire when he saw the damage. 🙏

My hubby and I bought 35 acres in very rural area (entire village population was 182, counting us lol!) We paid on land for 15 years...then decided to build a home there. Our first day moved in, I was so excited because all new appliances arrived, so I could FINALLY make our first night's dinner in new home. HAD entire meal all prepared when, wind started kicking up outside, sky got dark, lights flickered...a town siren began to wail! Yep, tornado alert....we hussled down to basement...with a bag of chips and a flashlight. A huge tree fell right next to our new home, its top point of branches knocking off a shutter. The power was off...FOR A WEEK. SO...meat cooked over portable barbecue...foil packets of potatoes and veggies...water in jugs and bottles. Yep...your oven trouble was annoying and expensive....but luckily, you got to use your brand new oven! I just polished my appliances, looked longingly at them...and had to wait a week until countywide electric co-op...got electric going again! lol!

That photo of the storm door on the cover of your binder is exactly how I manifest things. It's a sort of vision board which works well for me and on it, I place many pictures of things I want. Once manifested, I remove the picture, place in a "Thank you" enveloppe stapled on the back of my vision board . Voilà !

That door is SO LUCKY you found it!! We have two of these on our 1879 Victorian, one of them I rescued off the side of the road to replace a missing one (because people are insane and throw things like that out!!) Luckily previous owners protected the beautiful stain on ours with marine varnish. Must be a northeastern thing (we’re in western NY state) my hubby who grew up in the SW had never seen one. They really help with heat retention and are beautiful to hang a wreath on. Gorgeous video as always 🌾🌲🍂. Edit: lol that orange paint!!! 😂

Is that a downdraft ventilation system? Our kitchen, in a 1920s mountain home, cannot accommodate ducting other than a downdraft system which isn't ideal according to what I've been reading. But you can only work within what is possible. I have discovered lately a ductless/ventless system that uses new technology, so will be looking into that before I make a decision on a new range. Love your videos! Always soothing and fun especially for someone who lives on the west coast and has always wanted to visit New England in the fall. 🙏🍁💖
