It looks like your moving up the ladder pretty good there Sean, literally... Lol! Now it's one thing to have a generator and solar panels but you really can't beat a wood burning stove. You've hit a home run there! And a special shout out to all your clan, who have contributed (like Brother Will, WAAARD, just to name a few). It's those kinds of people who really help make a difference in this world. On a separate note, just wanted to ask you; Did the snow come earlier or later for you this year? I best be motoring on now, stay safe buddy.

Agreed! I am surrounded by wonderful people! The snow usually hits us this time of year, but this storm had a great deal more snow.

Snow on its way! Excellent you got the wood stove hooked up. I would of put it through the roof, that way the pipe going inside to the roof would also heat the cabin before going outside. Looks great!

Nice-you're using very little power for that fridge. I'm glad to see it's working as intended.

Lovely job, Sean. Nice to see the wood burner coming along. Can hardly wait to see the finished wall behind it-great idea to go up as high as the top of the window and door. Thanks for the vid.

I was going to suggest running the stone wall above the wall thimble. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, good plan.

Cold front hit me yesterday. Burrr, to chilly for shorts in the morning now. 😂 I was starting to wonder if summer was ever going to end. Actually starting to feel like fall.

If you get swirling wind blowing up against that side or the front or the back of the cabin that runs alongside the cabin, the breeze will blow in the moisture in the crack alongside the cabin of the weather stripping wrap.

Well, you've been busy, i think you have done a darn great job all together. The kitchen has what you need, and that's all it matters. Just stay warm, be careful lifting those heavy logs. Always nice to watch your videos. Stay well.

Have you considered a log lifter / roller tool to help move logs around. I've also seen a toothed loop thing you can attach straps to to drag the logs. Just thinking in case you hurt yourself lifting those heavy logs

Moving fridge to the corner (same wall as oven) would make more space for maneuver.

On the south side of the Dodge I'm guessing? Throw about 6 100 or 3 200 watt panels 😁👍
