Proper mentorship only comes through transparent honesty. If you can't be transparent with your mentor, their guidance can only steward you so far. Once transparency comes, the real conversation can begin. I just felt like I needed to share that. Much love

I LOVE the part of stewarding your mentor. A good reminder. So many people want a mentor but can’t take instruction or don’t follow through with what they’ve been instructed. It inspired me to list on paper every instruction the Lords given me and check up on my follow through and what’s been “put off” as less important in respect to daily tasks AKA delayed obedience AKA disobedience 😅

For example, last year, God told me to paint the windows in my prayer closet with depictions of different names of God. I haven’t finished. I know that he has treasure for me in the form of understanding him in new and different ways by completing this task. I need to begin setting aside time each week to work on that specific project and not put it off as an artistic outlet for when I have time. I need to make time. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🫶🏻 The Lord has answered my prayer and given me an internal clock and he’s continually building my understanding of time and seasons and the art of scheduling. This is another step in His grand plan and preparation ❤ thank you Preston and Brent for your faithfulness

The Leaders Cut is such a gift to me for my own development. And Brent is so so great as a Pastor and a collaborator in these talks. I love that he exposes how Preston mentors him, because those questions extends the mentorship to us. Love it🤍

You know, we aren't all called to work in a ministry in as direct a way as this, but I appreciated hearing that Preston asked Brent to read his Bible three times in the coming year. I won't be able to do that because I'm actually planning to lead a study this time around during the chronological read my group will be doing (again!), so my time will be going toward prepping to study with them and not just reading, but if i weren't, I would have totally taken that challenge as my own! I have lots of spiritual sisters I walk this walk with, but I have yet to find a spiritual big sister so for me, this is a form of mentorship and I value it highly. Actually, I just got done finally reading Pligrim's Progress and I think I value this even more highly than before!

God bless your lives so much! The Holy Spirit talk to me at the end of the prayer. It has been hard to belong to organization where no one is interested in being vulnerable or hearing someone who wants to be vulnerable. It's hard to walk by yourself it makes you do so many mistakes

Preston 🤧 The one episode with Tim Ross you spoke about a vision of a young woman crippled by fear that was me. I was so shocked when you said that because that was me not 24 hours before I saw the episode, now you're talking about me again 🤦🏾♀️ I literally said well I don't like that why can't I do this alone right over the prayer because I don't want to have to deal with people 😢😢 I would like to have someone holding me accountable but I don't like how I have been violated before. I am really struggling with this and you'll just call me right out 🤦🏾♀️

Super good episode.. Before I began watching I was praying and the Lord began to speak to me that He is raising up warriors and generals in this time. Then Brent (which is my sons name too by the way) prays the exact thing. I love how our Father talks and how He confirms His word through His body! This podcast is a cheat code for leaders!!

ISAIAH 2.1-3 NOTE: FORTUNATELY THERE IS NO "THERE," FOR THE LORD WILL EVER SHOW HIMSELF WHILE FOR EVER BLESSING, OF THE WHICH WILL BE REPRESENTATIVES OF HIMSELF...AS RIGHTEOUSNESS, NEW BODIES AND AS NATURE DOES...

1 JOHN 2.27 God is everywhere, and so are believers. Dont let tgte outer appearance fool us, whether of rags or riches, whether ones are inside a building or outside, fellowship may happen, and it must be OF AND WITH THE LORD, AND, MAYBE THROUGH WHOMEVER, OR WHATEVER, SITUATION OR OF WHAT CIRCUMSTANCE. For the Lord does not dwell in temples made by hands (1 CORINTHIANS 3.16, 6.19, 1 PETER 2.5-9). (JEREMIAH 23.24 (COLOSSIANS 1.27) Acts 7.48) So whether "two or three are gathered together in My Name, there I Am in THE midst." DEUTERONOMY 6.4

Do females need to have females as a Jonathan? I am all about a gal squad. I met one woman who I connected with in that way. She was a LC and I can’t pay for that kinda of friendship. I need it to be out of love for the mission.

Please, let's get it straight. Jesus' ministry, of what some saw may have been when He was thirty. Jesus did not need "preparation" because He was always, already God/JEHOVAH AND GOD (HEBREWS 1.8, REVELATION 1.8, DEUTERONOMY 32.40, 6.4) in another form. So His ministry has and had, and won't have a beginning NOR an end. He is eternal, and how else would HAVE Abraham believed if He did believe He already was. Remember, JOHN 21.25... "Without mother or father" (Melchizedek was a figure...not God, but a representative of His for ever substance.)..."CHILD OF THE HOLY SPIRIT," "ANOTHER FORM." YES, WE ARE VESSELS, BUT BEFORE WE KNEW THAT WE KNEW WE WERE SPIRIT, WE WERE, BUT KF GOD, LIKE HE SAYS, "WE HAD EVER BEEN WITH HIM."
@AntoinitaViolette7 ай бұрын
Everything Jesus did, was "before the foundation of the world," (we're walking through what He already did) except "the new thing, that eye hasn't seen, nor ear heard...," AND THESE ARE MORE AND FOR EVER BLESSINGS! LET US GET CAUGHT UP IN JESUS (MATTHEW 22.36-40), NOT MAN, PROGRAM, PHILOSOPHY NOR WHATEVER, JUST JESUS, WHICH LOOKS LIKE LOVING OR BLESSING MAN, IN THE WHICH HE MOVES HIS CHILDREN TO DO, AND, FIRSTLY, TO CARE FOR OURSELVES.
