I am so sorry to hear you are going through a tough time Kathleen. If it makes you feel any better, I have a special connection to cardinals too so I completely understand how you felt when you saw them. My sweet Grandma LOVED cardinals. Living in St Louis, she was obsessed with Cardinals Baseball, but she also loved the animal & would always get excited when she saw one - she thought they were so "purty" 😂. After her funeral, as we were heading back to our car a cardinal flew past my family & landed near her final resting place. I know that cardinal was a sign from my grandma that everything was going to be okay, & that she loves us. I miss her so much, it has been nearly eight years since she passed, but every single time I see a cardinal, I still can't help but say "Hi Grandma!". Soon I will be getting a tattoo of a cardinal & her signature in her honor. ❤️

Cardinals were there the night my dad died, singing... 😭 And my dad always believed that when a cardinal came around, that it was one of his ancestors with a message... Which is strange, because we would always see one right before we would get a call from out of the state from family members that someone in the family had passed away... He was very superstitious about it, which is why it shocked me so much when they were there in the middle of the night at the hospice center that he passed at... Gosh I miss him so...

Thank you... Im sorry for your mother and well... She sounds like she was a smart woman! I remember when my dad told me about it and how fascinating it was for me that other people actually believed this, too! I imagine that there HAS to be something to it... Then for me to actually experience this when he passed made me a believer... This bird literally was following us from tree to tree as if trying to get our attention, singing louder and louder when we started talking to it... It got so close that my mom and I could have reached out and touched it... It was the only thing that brought me peace at the time... Especially since we had been asking for a sign that he was going to be ok and for someone else in the family to come and take him with them and away from his pain... It had been a long, slow decline, and although I miss him every day, I'll never forget it and I'm happy I no longer have to see him like that... I know that's not how he would want to be remembered. ✝️🙏🕊

Cardinals are super special to me, because my grandpa loved birds especially cardinals and when he passed away there was a cardinal nest right outside my living room window. Also when my grandma passed away there were a male and female sitting at the end of my moms drive way when she got home from the funeral. I truly believe my grandparents became cardinals in their afterlife. I collect anything with cardinals on it

We love you Kathleen!! And take your time, take care of your family matters. Life happens. My husband and I have had a rough couple of years. In 2018 his dad died in February, my dad died in May and his mom died in June. Also last year his brother died. It has been a wild sad ride and we have been through a lot of grief. Now my husband is the last living person in his immediate family. My dad was a special guy and our family isn't the same without him. I have 4 kids and their gpa meant so much to them and my 3 nieces. Again life is hard and the most important thing is to focus on your loved ones because you just don't know how much time you will have with them. Cherish the time together. Love your videos!

I recently my grandma passed away and it’s been awful but knowing she went on her own terms and she decided I gotta go helped me get through it and through my sadness I’ve felt comfort and gratitude during this time. I feel thankful for the time I got with her and the traits I got from her. I moved to Manhattan recently and she was SO HAPPY. She was a Brooklyn/New York girl she loved it until the day she died and every time I got on the subway from work late at night, I would cry thinking how cool and proud she was and she did this too. It was sad but it made me so grateful for her and her life. So I understand trying to find gratitude in tough situations.

I clicked on this video to play in the background while I was working, but I tuned in and realized I needed this video. I went through the same thing with my grandfather in the hospital right before Christmas and he passed on Christmas Eve. I see 1029 (on the clock, etc) all the time which is my birthday and always think it’s a sign. Same with cardinals, this is a belief in my family for years.
