Getting Rejected

The plaintiff hired the defendant to render drawings for a roof over their balcony. They said the town council rejected their proposal for the new roof, so they’re suing for their money back. The defendant argues he knows the council is picky and that most drawings get rejected on the first try. He’s countersuing for the balance due of his fees.

I would not like to deal with this plaintiff on any basis. Lots of red flags about her personality. For one thing, she doesn't seem to like the fact that the judge keeps operating like it's her courtroom. The defendant, on the other hand, seems quite competent.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking $1200 to not deal with this Bit... lady ever again...sounds good enough for me. I run a small construction business and had to deal with people like this plaintiff, and I learned a long time ago that some times a peace of mind is worth more than money$$$$. And really she's just mad her thing didn't get approved and it can't be her fault.. She's perfect, When she farts it doesn't smell....

What the heck! For fun I googled the plaintiff and she has an arrest record for 'LARC - Other theft' with her mugshot from Palm Beach Florida dated Jan 2023. Would like to know the story behind that. Obviously if you're hiring an architect to design something that has to pass some kind of heritage panel you're not talking regular property like most of us would own, it's going to be higher end than that. So a theft charge?

technically there are still some things that you have to get approved by zoning regardless of whether there is an HOA but in general I agree with you.
