just finished watching all your episodes, thanks for the work!! I live in Berlin where there is one Casino at Potsdamer Platz where they have occasionally 1 PLO table €2/4 apart from that Germany is PLO desert. You have to drive 4 hours to Kings Casino Rozvadov Czech Republik, where you can find a lot of €5/5 PLO action - biggest poker room in europe. Looking forward to your 5 tipps video. regards, etzel

Thanks Etzel, I appreciate your support. Sorry to hear you’re in a plo desert. Is it maybe because a lot of players there prefer online poker? I’ve heard of kings casino, sounds like a cool place to check out but 4 hours drive is a bit too much for a day trip. That’s how far it is for me to drive to Las Vegas so it’s more of a weekend trip. Yeah me too, I think it’ll help out a lot of ppl. Should be posted Thursday morning. Good luck at the tables

👍🏼👍🏼Great vlog as always… I’m playing real deep now in plo… the new crack of poker… 😬🤣😁… I seem to get real stuck early too and always look at my watch @4 hours of play… if I’m winning I usually tend to quit but when I’m losing I play until it get short handed… or game breaks… it’s a high limit house game… the chips tend to disappear after 8 hours… any advice or tips I need to be aware…? Thanks buddy… keep it coming!
@DonkFishPoker2 жыл бұрын
If you’re losing early you’re probably making the same mistake I’ve been making recently which is playing too wide. My last couple sessions I’ve played I’ve gone back to basics and just played tight solid poker and it’s worked out well for me so I’d recommend tightening up and see how it goes. Also playing short handed is an entirely different skill set so I’d stick to playing full ring for now then slowly transition into short handed play. It’s all part of the process and you’ll be better for it down the road. Good luck at the tables buddy.

It is a good way to get started. I don't mind a small game as it will play much larger than the 1-1 indicates. It is better than where I play and you have a max $300 bet, so if game gets too big you hit the cap very quickly.

Great question, I would play with them maybe a couple times per session as they increase the variance even more which is something I try to reduce as much as possible. That being said I do believe they help the game loosen up a bit.
@vladimpala18592 жыл бұрын
@@DonkFishPoker Sounds about right. But double-board are a must. Single is trash and should just be a flip if two aren't allowed. I also think they should be infrequent. I've played in games where they want to play them every dealer change, and they eat up way too much time.
@DonkFishPoker2 жыл бұрын
@@vladimpala1859 I agree on all those points. They definitely slow the game down quite a bit. If they weren’t played every dealer change idk how they would be played. Seems like that is the best way to indicate when they are played

@@DonkFishPoker Dealer change is definitely easiest, but maybe every other. Or pick a random event that triggers one, like an all-diamond flop, etc. Thankfully the couple casinos I go to most often don't allow them, so it's not an issue. But the home games love them. Are you a fan of the double board bomb pots? Seems very swingy- you’ll win or lose big pots- and you’re forced to play marginal hands that typically get you in trouble which is probably the point.

I believe they can be good for the game but they are also very tricky to play for the reasons you mentioned. Even for someone like myself who has played a lot of live plo, double board bomb pots are difficult to play especially if you aren’t familiar with them.
