Today we sit down with one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time, the 4x Olympia Champion himself, Jay Cutler! Maxx and Jay discuss topics ranging from how Jay knew at a young age he was destined for the stage, to why he refuses to change his bro-diet even into his late 40's. Jay breaks down the key moments that helped him become the champion multiple times, as well as the dark mental place he was in after he got dethroned.
Listen to all of this and much more on today's exciting episode of Don't Be Sour!

When you asked jay what he would like to talk about instead of what he’s use to hearing that changed the entire mood of the podcast .. well done

I see Jay like every other day at the gym and he’s such a great guy. Always says hi, makes small talk. Even though I don’t ever want to bother him while he’s working out, he still likes to say hi. Very humble and cool guy!

I can honestly say that this was one of the if not THE best episode. The way you guys bounced questions at each other, you could really see that Jay genuinely cared about Maxx's Story, and I loved how it was more of a discussion, than an actual interview kind of podcast. Wishing well for the both of you - amazing human beings, great energy, great ways of thinking. Much love.

My fav part about Jay is the posing faces, he scrunches up his face to where he's clearly straining but trying to smile, and it's just bananas. Also he flexes his quads like it's a remote control that's not working, he hits it and it starts working again

I met Jay back in 08/09' at the Natural Ohio show i competed in and Jay was the guest poser. One of the best guys Ive met over the years. I always take the opportunity to comment my experience cause having a long convo with this guy that many look up to was really humbling. When we speak of ambassadors to the sport, Jay typically stands out in modern times. Thanks Jay for all you have done and great work on this interview. Its NOT slowing down. Its MORE calculated in the decisions you make.

Maxx, u know what's missing? Every person you interview should try sour strips at the end of the video. That'd be something to look forward to for every video. It would make good shorts content too.

Bit of advice for you maxipoo, all of your worries come down to the opinion of others not your own self. You can never handle the opinions of others and this is where I believe the majority of your anxiety comes from. If you want to stop powerlifting do it. You’re just holding onto your old persona and it’s hard to let go. The same when athletes retire. Time flows and people will flow with you Seems cliche advice but until you repeat this process daily within yourself you’ll forever be a slave to the minds of others and your own. Much love great podcast bro 🤞🏼

Thanks Max and Jay for doing this. Jay is most definitely in my Mt Rushmore of bodybuilding. This man absolute stud on stage but this man also till this day continues to give value to the younger generation with content and appearances. I’ve met Jay 3 times. Not only did he have softer hands than I did, he was also just as genuine as the first time I met him. Well done boys!
