You are producing really quality content. I'm also on a journey of being a Brand Strategist... but honestly I like the term Brand Designer better although that is still not widely used. Part of the reason I choose that is because I conduct the strategy session as well as the execution. What do you think of the term Brand Designer does it come of as something that is confusing?

Hey Marvin. In terms of labels, it really depends on your audience and target market. I work with some industrial companies and they have zero idea what the word Brand really means so I have to change my language for them and educate them.

We also do the execution, not just strategy. At Butler we tel clients we are a full-service branding and marketing agency. My specific role/title is “Brand Strategist”. So we keep our company tagline as general/clear as possible, then get more specific with our titles.

Good content. But let’s be clear that the Sagi Haviv course is not a brand strategy course. It’s an excellent brand identity course.

It is one tool I’ve used in my brand strategy toolbox. It’s definitely a strategy course as he reveals his process of discovery prior to execution, then presentation… It’s just not comprehensive brand strategy as it only touches on identity design.

@@ButlerBranding Yeah, I would agree he builds an element of strategy in. I guess what i'm trying to say is that from what I understand Brand Strategy is HUGE and when you delve in you can end up strategising on the entirety of the business: > The vision > The mission > The messaging > The innovation around the products etc etc
