Great video, good clear explanations. I've seen Klaus Frimor call this a Scandi-cast as well. At least, I'm pretty sure they're the same thing. Anyway, keep up the good content!

Well, you're not wrong. :) It's the Göran Andersson Underhand cast with a low stop to produce a nice wide loop so that all of that nasty junk on the leader will roll out smoothly. However, if I called it the "Göran Andersson Underhand Cast with a Low Stop to Roll Out the Nasty Junk Cast" nobody would be able to learn it. Instead it's just a roll cast with a change of direction. We just won't tell anyone about the Underhand thing, OK?

What is the plain of the cast? Is that where the rod tip is pointing?
