@7:08 when entering data, your keyboard changed from text only, to showing text, number pad, and date (the abc, 123, date tabs) right above the left “tab’” key on your keyboard. Mine have disappeared and I can’t figure out how to turn them on. Reset the iPad, turned on and off, I can’t, for instance, use the “123” number tab to enter numbers, or the date tab, to enter dates. Little help please, if you know how to turn that feature on and off. 👍 🙏t

Do you use a keyboard to attach to the iPad? If not. I would recommend it.

@@APPLE1TO1 The problem started with the recent Numbers update 14.1 (7369.0.73). When using Logitech Pro X Mouse, or Logitech Keys to Go keyboard it negates the iPad Pro onscreen Numpad. Disconnect Logitech devices and Numpad reappears. All devices have current updates. Logitech is looking into this for me. Thanks for the suggestion. Prefer Logitech, and prefer Numbers, but appears one has gotta go. Very good easy to follow content by the way. Subscribed! 👍

That’s a great feature I wish they include. The only option you have is hitting the circle with … then tap customize toolbar.

The only way is to remove the results.

@@APPLE1TO1 does not allow, deletes the formula as well I created a table with five fields, the idea was to first enter in the fifth field the current balance of the account (E2) and then to automatically summarize fields C3 as plus and D3 as minus the account that will be displayed in column E. But when I entered the formula in E3 (=E2+C3-D2) it also showed me the result of the current state. then I selected the array fields to automatically apply the formula, but the results of the current state also appeared. After your advice, I tried to delete the result, but it refuses, it reenters the result

How much easier is it to use numbers on Mac? Trying to do it on my iPad without buying a whole MacBook but iPadOS does feel limiting or like it just isn’t as easy get things done quickly.

Doing any apps requiring typing data or writing documents will never compare to a computer. IpadOS needs. Major overall to make it easier. I do recommend a case with a keyboard and trackpad.

@@seabass22 personally I don’t see how owning an iPad only to do pages numbers and Keynote would really work out for me anyway. Walmart is selling a Mac at $699 right now which is a great deal.

Well you can work on it in the Mac. I personally have not built a spreadsheet from scratch in the iPad version.
