So glad I found this great video. I just signed up for ComposerCloud+ and downloaded a few libraries, but I am waiting for the library SSD external drive. Not sure what is or will be installed where - there isn't much info available that I can find. Hoping that the SSD library drive will come with detailed instructions. Anyway, love your videos!

I agree with Mr. Partem! And I'd also like to know when you will talk about using one instance of Opus for many instruments. I know that one is going to be a life-saver. Great introduction to this huge series of Libraries. My question will be how do you mange when your sound is ready with an instrument to move it to a DAW like Logic and get the same sound and create a final Bounce from your Daw?

Basically I would just render in place (I'm using Cubase so not sure how this is done in logic). Sometimes I will just leave the midi as it is so I can further work on it later.

Is it possible to create a MIDI file or (better) an audio file directly from the software to import into a DAW - rather than recording into a DAW. I have a particular reason for asking this.

Welcome to my channel. I hope you find a lot of interesting videos here. I'm not sure what you mean. The orchestrator allows you to drag and drop MIDI tracks. @@UDiAudio Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. I want to record something as MIDI in the Opus Engine itself then save it. I've seen the official video that shows you how. But it doesn't say whether I can import that MIDI file into my DAW. I use FL Studio. I can record directly into FL Studio but at this stage I don't want to if I don't have to.

@@stevekelly3033It should work in any DAW as far as I know.. I just use Cubase as DAW of choice not because it’s a requirement. If in doubt best to contact EastWest support

I use both Mac and Windows; Understand the installation files are OS specific, but can I share the same sound files from a single external SSD formatted in exFAT or FAT32?

Here's the answer from EastWest: "ExFAT or FAT32 formats won't read the libraries properly and can cause both installation or performance issues in those formats, since they aren't native formats best designed for streaming sample libraries, which contain very large files arranged in folders that the drive needs to concurrently pull memory from. ExFAT / FAT32 formats work best for smaller files - i.e. documents or project data being shared between OS's rather than virtual instrument sample libraries. If you are installing your libraries to an external Hard Drive, we best recommend making sure your drive is natively formatted for the OS you're using - For Mac, that would be Mac OS Journaled or APFS (non case-sensitive) and for Windows, that would be in NTFS. You would be best off using an external SSD formatted natively for each machine, containing the libraries you'd like to use on the corresponding OS." Each instrument will go into separate folder. You can manage the folders from the Opus installer. Contact me if you need help. Also you can buy EastWest through me to support the channel (i can give you some discounts)

This is not related to Native Instruments. They have different player called Opus. I explain this in the video.
