Does this have a video recorder in it so when you hit record you can prove that you are officially recording it from were you say the noise was getting record from ? And if it does and some hits record and starts makeing a loud noise out of the view of the camera how can they tell that it's getting fauls noise feed Into it and it not the so called person who they are saying making it.... Also if am recording a flat noise is there a make that would pick up what they are taking about and record there full conversation in Their flat or would it only be noise sound

You guys have no clue how much this would help out with my current situation. To make an extremely long story short. Neighbors are running a car repair shop, they paint cars and power wash engines-- that's just some of the illegal things they do. I have reached out to everyone you can think of for help; The county, cops, environmental agencies, (their equipment releases toxic fumes in the air) nada. It's my word against theirs. Sadly if it's not recorded, you won't get any help.

Hi Sylvie, the Trojan2 is available in Canada, although we don't supply it to domestic customers. The best thing to do would be to contact your local municipal office, as they will have a team that specialises in investigating noise nuisance complaints. If the noise pollution is coming from an industrial source or renewable energy project, then you can contact your local Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change office. I hope this helps!

Just got a Trojan from my housing regarding my neighbours washing machine letting off a loud low frequency hum. Driving me crazy. It's because she's denying using her machine that I've now got this Trojan noise machine. I have a couple of questions to the uploader 1) Will it pick up low frequencies that are audible? Sometimes the humming isn't so loud (depending on the settings she using on her w.machine) will it pick up a distant rumble this is the lesser noise disturbance but still goes through me? The louder hum is horrendous and penetrates through my body and ear plugs don't do nothing. 2) Does it record when it's not pressed by me? I'd hate to think that it's recording my conversations because it then becomes an invasion on my privacy. This machine is really my only hope to prove it's my neighbour and for the housing association to tell ger directly. They have called her but she denied it was coming from her w.machine. I 1000% know it. I blatantly hear her w.machine spinning etc when my ear is pressed to my wall that's adjacent to her kitchen, but as she's lying I need to prove there's a noise in the first place as the housing can't come round to listen in the night and early hours obviously! It keeps me up every night...all night on and off until up to 8am. The qomans admitted in the past she's a bloody insomniac! The housing have bought out 2 plumbers to see if its water pipe related..nothing found. Then an electrician to see if the source was coming from outside...nothing. I've told them exactly where it's coming from but they have to rule out other things first. If the silly cow just stopped using her machine after 10pm and listened to me telling her it's from her machine this would've been alot easier but she's obviously deluded. Would appreciate any answers to my questions. I have it for 2 weeks.

The answer to both of them is "it depends" - there are different versions of the Trojan noise nuisance recorder, each of which has slightly different features and functionality. The best thing to do would be to contact your housing association and ask them, as they will know which version they have and what features they have enabled/disabled 😊

What will happen if there is no power for a while? Would recordings will be lost? Or when you turn on equipment again it will continue to record it?

Hi Justyna. The Trojan has backup battery power that can last between 10 and 12 hours.
