So so sad at the loss of our wonderful Queen Elizabeth today.

While I don't really follow the monarchy, how do you think Charles will do? Hopefully his illness is under control, I see the rag papers at the grocery, don't pay it much attention especially painting his wife as an alcoholic. Hopefully that's bologna.

This gift is by far the most meaningful and precious of anything gifted to you. Not just because it relates to you and Philips relationship, but it is beautiful and relates to your garden. This man felt so connected that he gave you part of his love. This must make you feel that you are achieving much and connecting to so many. I hope your back feels better. The chateau cannot function without you. Well, Mummy will be a good stand in, maybe even a bit tougher than you. What a group! I’m laughing and loving this channel every day!😊

What a lovely tribute to Queen Elizabeth. As you all sang, it occurred to me (an American) that is likely the final time in my life I'll hear the anthem with the word "Queen". She has been a steadfast, but gentle leader and in doing so, an often under appreciated role model for women's rights.

I was born outside London, raised in the US and most of my English family is gone now, so today was sad with no one to share the feelings with. Thank you for the tribute. Everyone of the mend and make do generation loved Queen Elizabeth II as she went though the war with them and created the Commonwealth with intelligence and sympathy. She was a model of hardworking royal, living up to her duty but still claimed the love of her life and found much joy in her life. 😘😘😘

They can nitpick and scrutinize you and everyone else at La Lande, but with episodes like this one you can see all the love and joy that you bring each other and your viewers around the world. I don’t expect you to be perfect or always do things right because you are human and still trying to find your way with this new digital world and all of the overwhelming support you receive from around the world. No matter what it is that they say you are doing or getting wrong, it’s videos like this that show the true essence of your heart and the heart of La Landers near to you and all corners of the Earth. I came on here to watch something cheery as I cannot stop crying about the Queen. Hi Gee, I feel the same as you do. Of course, our TV programmes are about the Queen and her very sad passing. Today her cortege took her coffin from Balmoral to Holyrood House in Edinburgh to lie in state for a few days, before being taken to St Giles Church in Edinburgh and then on to London. It was a very emotional journey and there were so many people lining the route not only in villages but the countryside too and on bridges. At one point a number of farmers had lined up their tractors in a field as an Agricultural guard of honour and mark of respect and there was a riding school who were on their horses lined up in a field along the road side! So poignant as the Queen loved horses, as I am sure you know. Then yesterday Prince William and Kate invited Prince Harry and Meghan to join them on a walkabout along the Long Walk from Windsor Castle. They accepted and it was so nice to see them together again (although very emotional too) and thinking how the Queen would have loved that! You are right, she was always calm and especially during the pandemic when we were not allowed to meet up with our families and friends and she did.a special TV broadcast saying that it is a very difficult time but we 'Will Meet again" and how right she was! Most people miss her a great deal too, Best wishes Christina, Devon, UK.

Just finished watching the vlog, and this was how I heard of the Queens passing... Yes, truly the end of an era... In the same vlog, the beautiful lovestory, about the couple, with so many similarities to Stephanie and Phillip, and the wonderful gift. Such a beautiful painting - It reminded me so much of the woods behind the Chateau, in the spring.... I'd love to hear more about the couple, and their story 🙂 And all of the Chateau, filled with happy people, preparing for a big event. I always think, that those must be the moments, that might just give a tiny glimpse, of how Chateau life was, maybe 100-150 years ago.... All hands on deck! Rooms being prepared, kitchen full of activity and delicious smells. And everywhere, you look, is a hive of activity, to make sure that the honored guests will see the Chateau at its best, and have the most lovely stay....
