Did your school pay for your flight or did you pay for yourself to be reimbursed later? 3. 1) The bank statement was for formality 2) yes my school paid for my flight ( some other school requires you to pay for yourself and would reimburse you later on) 3) no I didn't pay my hostel fee ahead of time 4) I actually have no idea since I didn't pay for it 😅 I was only sent a flight ticket after informing them what they was best for me

Hello Jahray, I am Ada and I would like to apply for the GKS scholarship for my Master’s studies aswell. I have few questions: 1. Is submitting a research proposal compulsory for all courses? Even if it is not a research based study. And what does it entail? 2. Do I need to have knowledge of the Korean language? Is it compulsory? Can you apply without even being able to speak Korean or understand at all? 3. Is there any exam I would be taking during the whole application and what is/are the exam(s)? 4. Hi 1) No ,Submitting research proposal is not compulsory at all for Masters only PhD 2) no, you do not need to have knowledge in Korean but it's advisable if you do. It could boost your application and yes you can apply even if you can't speak at all 3) Aside from Topik exams which are just to boost application (but aren't compulsory ) no you don't need to take any exams 4) I started my application in February but I started preparing way before and I passed all rounds by July and traveled in August.

Each school is different... Some schools gives out transcripts easily while some schools like mine you have to cry blood sweat and tears before you get it

You need Waec to authenticate your documents for both UG and G…. But for G you don't have to submit your Waec along with your other document while applying... But if you're going for UG (undergraduate) you need to submit your Waec, transcript, testimonials (graduating certificate ) and some other things like birth certificate, parent NIN and all

Yes it is best to authenticate before application opens I originally authenticated one colored photocopy each for all my documents but then submitted it during application and had to do another one for my Uni.
