check the rankings by majors, for example for one particular major Kyunghee Uni can be super competitive, for a different major it might be not competitive

I have a doubt when applying through embassy track we need to follow the deadlines of the University or do we also have to follow the apply starting date. Suppose i am applying in keimyung university and in their webside the mention that application period is 21 oct to 29 nov and embassy track last date is 5 October. So can we still apply in that University

If you apply through GKS embassy track, you need not care about any deadlines other than the embassy deadline. In case you can't make it by embassy and you still have time for university deadline, you can apply afterwards

Hello, I'm planning to apply for the GKS-G in 2027 and have a question regarding university selection. Based on your advice, applicants applying through the embassy track should choose one top-tier university, one mid-tier university, and one less competitive university. For my major in Korean Language Education, I'm considering Korea University, Kyung Hee University, and Pusan National University. Do you think this combination is appropriate? Or should I replace Kyung Hee or Pusan with other universities? If possible, could you suggest some alternative universities that might be better fit for this major? Hey i have a doubt about the different major and department. In embassy track my major is MBA. My options are Korea University, Ajou University and yeungnam university. But in Ajou University the department is International studies and major is AI and IT business. Whereas in Korea University and yeungnam university both departments are social studies a d major is business administration. Is this correct like the major are related to eachother but the department are different. Or I need to change instead of Ajou University???

I don't know specifically about HUFS, but because this is more like foreign languages university, I don't think business major is very competitive. I guess you're good to go with well-written letters =)

If the major you want isn't listed then it is simply not available, also if you see it what ypu want on google but that university isn't listed in the Universities part of GKS that too simply means its not part of the program

Embassy track allows the choice of 3 universities, if you get rejected from all 3, unfortunately, you cannot apply to another one. Only the next year..
