Noted the recipes as I want to try them! Salmon 3 cloves of garlic chopped/crushed Sriracha teaspoon Olive oil tablespoon White vinegar tablespoon Soy sauce 2 tablespoons Sesame oil glug Honey half teaspoon Salmon, 1in cubed and skin off rice, cucumber, sesame seeds to serve Marinade the salmon for at least 30 minutes Air fry on 375f/190c 7-10 minutes till crispy Serve with rice, cucumber, sesame seeds, sriracha to dip Tofu Extra film tofu, cubed Oil then pan, add on medium high heat Wait until golden brown before stirring, 5 minutes Cook until golden brown on all sides

I live in Toronto (and love it), but I really love Montreal. It’s a cool big city with a small town European feel. Fantastic food options and a fun vibe. If you do get the chance to visit in the future I think you’d love it!

Canadian gal here… don’t judge all of Canada on two big cities like Toronto and Vancouver. It’s such a big country with a huge variation in culture from coast to coast. As a Maritimer I can say we have our own unique culture compared to the rest of Canada. Ottawa is a great city too! Just give us a chance! Even if it’s only for a visit, we will surprise you!

Calgary or Halifax! But seriously the access to some of the most beautiful landscapes if you live in Calgary. You cannot beat the landscape in Alberta. Halifax however, has amazing vibes, and some beautiful landscapes as well. It’s big enough, but small enough at the same time. Montreal is great as well, but honestly, to get the best experience from living in Quebec I strongly recommend learning French.

Hugeeee Taylor Swift fan here. Since the very beginning. The best part about Taylor Swift is knowing the meaning behind her songs. My Tears Ricochet is actually about her losing the rights to her original work. I feel like if you don’t know the meanings, it’s hard to like some of her stuff. Reputation is the best if you just wanna jam. Lover has a lot of good ones if you need to be in your feels lol Folklore and Evermore are basically books in song form. So much good stuff. If you have the opportunity to see her in concert, 100% go. I went in Kansas City and I’ve never felt so safe at a public event. The atmosphere makes all the difference 🩷

I lived on the south shore of Montreal, its a nice place and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. However, living in Quebec as an unilingual anglophone brings a whole set of challenges that you likely would not be expecting. I live in Ottawa now, it's a beautiful area only 2 hours from Montreal, but since it's on the Ontario side you won't have the language issues. And its Canada's capital, with many great activities going on, the tulip festival in may, the jazzfest in late summer, and so much more. Edit: I'm not referring to Quebecers, they are lovely people, it's more the government and infrastructure systems that are francophone only, for the majority.

Please see/stay in Montreal before you pick! Mtl is one of my fave cities in the world. It is so fun and sweet and charming and European. It is worth staying a couple months! I live in Toronto and it has been my fave place to visit if I need some time away ❤

I’m from Montreal, born here. You need to like cold and snow and sometimes even freezing rain in the winter because we get lots of that here. But you should definitely come visit and see for yourself, we have great food and it is a beautiful city with great people. I have been to many states in the US and I love my city. I am going to give you my thoughts on relocating to Quebec, DON’T (I am Canadian). There has always been some tension between Quebec and the rest of Canada. They see themselves as a unique culture and there is a separatist movement there. If you are not fluent in French, you will have a difficult time fitting in. It is a beautiful province and I highly recommend visiting Montreal and most definitely Quebec City, but not to live in. If you are looking at the rest of Canada, skip Saskatchewan & Manitoba absolutely! You have already ruled out Vancouver & Toronto. There are other beautiful areas areas in southern BC (eg White Rock), but like you said it will be very much like Washington/Seattle. The province of Ontario is beautiful, it not just all about Toronto. The eastern provinces have their own beauty as well with a small town feel, although very brutal winters. Europe would be a better choice really. Good luck with your search🥰

We saw the tour in Chicago and it was amazing, but she didn't become a regular for me. I loved her musical style in those first albums, but the lyrics didn't always resonate. And, like you stated, it took me a few listens to most of her songs to be like...OH!!! 😳 Midnights really hooked me. I hadn't really heard any songs from Evermore or Folklore unless they were Tiktok sounds 🫠 After Midnights stole my soul (and I also have the track that seems to be hard to find, "You're Losing Me"...😢 shook me) I went back and gave Folklore and Evermore several listens and yeah....they got me. Omg Taylor thank you so much for this salmon recipe! I hate cooking, love salmon, and own an air-fryer! Btw, we also cook our tofu in the air-fryer. We slice firm tofu, soak it in salty water for, well, as long as we can wait😂, and then fry at 200C for 20-25 min. But then, it gets crispy. Maybe, for your taste, you'd be good with 10 - 12 min. Also, I'm really sorry you have those migraines😢. I used to have them for about a decade and I'm just sad for anyone who suffers from those attacks(((((. I hope you'll be able to get rid of them eventually 🙏🙏🙏 Sending much love - your videos always make my days better!

I live 15~20 minutes from Downtown Montréal (on the Southshore)A city called Brossard and I love it ! I lived two years ago on the island ( in Montreal for a year) its definitely more city like ( if you love outdoor activities & more space & ( Seattle and Denver because i have been to both ( montreal is different : more city like if that makes sense) :) Montreal is definitely more affordable then Toronto ( housing market ) food & gas is similar to California if I were to compare with a US State. I love Montreal for the diversity, also has a major airport( for travelers). Since you love to try different restaurants.. Montreal is one of the most diverse city in the world ( for all kinds of food). Thats one of the best thing about Montreal ❤️ You also get all 4 seasons with beautiful fall colors, snow, and humid summer but not as much as Florida in July 😅.. Montreal is also a bilingual city.. all businesses require you to speak english / french . Very easy for english speakers to get around. Would definitely recommend ! But if you hesitate between Seattle/ Denver ( very different than Montreal) just for a quick background info .. I lived in Arizona for 8 years and i can tell you that the West side is definitely different than the East side. I found that living on the West side during those 8 years...people were more chill and laid back... Montreal is still different than New York..but i would compare the people as a middle gound beween a west side person and a new yorker 😂😂 if you know you know 😅 nothing wrong against my New Yorkers just a different pace ( not as fast pace) . Hahha!

What made me a TS fan was her live performance of Out Of the Woods when 1989 was at its peak. It was so beautiful and really displayed her vocals. I fell out of it after 1989 but folklore and evermore pulled me right back in. Those albums are stunning.

If you're comparing Canada to the US and are leaning toward Montreal...you probably aren't going to be happy in Canada tbh. Also there are other cities in Ontario, Toronto is very far south in a very big province. Hamilton, Brampton, London to name a few.

Montréal is gorgeous but doubly so if you speak French! My family has been in Canada a long, long time (hundreds of years) and you have just visited but I AGREE with all of your observations. I think you will find Montreal nice to visit but not YOUR special place. We all Love following you and your fun, freeing, and brave adventures. Keep going! And don’t worry so much. I’ve been a swifty since the first album and I can tell you I never like any song the first time I hear them from her haha. It just takes a few listens to grow on you. I’d give evermore a listen if you haven’t yet! It’s kind of the sister album to folklore so it has a similar vibe. Would’ve, could’ve, should’ve is my favorite song by her currently so I’m glad you like it!! Also, I feel like all too well is the swifty original favorite so you have to try that song out haha.

You should consider Ottawa!! It’s a great middle ground, some people say it’s boring but it’s pretty close to Toronto 4hr and montreal 2hr by car. I enjoy being close to interesting things but not super close so I can have my peace. Montreal is somewhat made fun of in Canada 😂 but it can be a good option for people.

My family is from Montreal! It’s a beautiful city and you don’t need French to live there. The locals are super friendly and will help you/talk to you in English. A lot of old gorgeous buildings and architecture- and just very homey. I might be a little biased but 😂 you gotta go one day!

Ok I’m also in an apple breakfast mood and you should try making overnight oats! I satuee the apples with cinnamon and maple syrup, SO GOOD! I mix oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and almond milk. Then in the morning add yogurt to the oats and top it with the cooked apples 😋😋 It’s my hyperfixation right now, so so good!

I honestly love how you edited the slomo clips to look like you meant to film it that way. But if I may offer a high fantasy book recommendation, the Empirium trilogy by Claire Legrand (Furyborn, Kingsbane, and Lightbringer) if you ask me it shouldn’t even be considered young adult, it’s pretty mature more like new adult. And I will say the beginning of Furyborn was a bit slow but it picked up pretty quickly for me and the second and third books were even better. I read them a few months ago and I still think about them, it was so well written, the world building was stunning, like almost without flaw. I tend to be super critical when I read so I’ll pick apart the writing and edit it in my head but this series is actual perfection imo

The Folklore album is when I really started liking Taylor Swift. Folklore, Evermore, Reputation & Midnights are more my jam than some of her much older stuff. She’s a really fantastic song writer and I think that’s why so many people relate/love her music. I am now a Swiftie. I saw her Eras tour in Arlington Texas and will be going to Tokyo Japan in February to see her play internationally.
