Getting To The Bare Bones Of a SKX (Seiko SKX Skeleton Mod 2021 ! )

One mod which I have always wanted to do was a Seiko SKX skeleton. I have done some before (Think I might have been the first modder to do so;) ) but I never liked the movement I used. Now with the release of the NH70/71 and 72 I have now made a Skeleton SKX I am happy with. Have a sit back and have a watch ;)

I'm going to do one, been thinking about it for a bit. You pushed me over the edge, I think a silver bezel insert and a gray sailcloth strap would look nice on a sandblasted titanium case.

I like this skeletonized SKX very much. Yet another rabbit hole for me to go down😁. Thanks👍. I think I preferred your brighter (more silvery?) NH70 version, but considering your industrial design goal, your NH72 definitely fit the bill. Thanks to you, I might have to go all out with the gilt NH71 😁. Thanks for keeping amateurs like me up-to-date with these great ideas!

Definitely my cup of tea. Thanks for the video. I've been debating between the NH70 and the NH72 and you just helped. Out of curiosity, I noticed they ship with a different movement holder and was wondering if you had any problems fitting it into the case?

Is this stem the same as a nh35?
