No offence intended but tyre fitters are just like tow truck drivers, Rip and Bust and always in a rush. Always dirty and always smashing up equipment. Terry gave us a clue a few weeks back when he had a mini rant about the state of the tyre van… Touch to get someone good for that role.

My understanding the first fitter left, the second was let go be it for cash flow reason, not enough work or whatever. As a business he is not going to publish that to protect the company but also protect the employee. Imagine if he said the fitter was sacked, would then make it hard for that fitter to get more employment.

You need to find out why it needs a DPF, they fail through other issues that nobody looks for, vaporiser, injectors, temp sensors, ect. If anything goes faulty in the system it stops it working but a fully working DPF system should be good of 100s of 1000s of miles. Unfortunately everyone looks at the main unit at being the problem whereas it's usually something else stopping it doing it's job.

Those crafters have a fuel flow sensor that can go funky, the fuel pump can be a pain, and there’s an oil sensor recall open on some of them. Any one of those issues can look like a dpf or an adblue fault.

Great Video Daniel! Have you ever looked into Dipetane Fuel additive for diesels? It helps to improve on fuel economy but also has helps to clean injectors and reduce the Carbon buildup within the engine. Idk how practical it is for a fleet like yours however I have noticed a massive improvement with my fuel economy over the course of a month just using it. Would highly recommend looking into if you can, even if its just for your domestic vehicles, and I would imagine it would help the VW with the DPF issue you have/had issues with. Keep up the hard work and looking forward to new yard transformation that is to com.

I actually prefer your 30 min videos as I usually watch on my iPad mounted on the steering wheel whilst I'm charging my car at a public charger. The other day I was watching your 1 hour video and my Mini cooper charged from 0-100% in 30 mins, imagined how miffed I was to pause and continue watching at home after a few hours drive. Also, people park right next to me when there's plenty of other spaces nearby just to watch your episode with me 😅

TO solve car park flooding did a ditch from car park to a area to disperse water drop a culvert in (* a long pipe ) making sure the water drains into hole for culvert put a drain over hole and no more water ever thats what they do in Aussie mines to solve drainage pond issues

Alarm Call that is absolute dangerous and shows lack of knowledge, see how tread depths are way apart the inner way low and the outer Too deep.. this results in massive overload on the larger tyre and possible failure !! Daniel better get on top and ensure all drivers are aware of this problem.. ALWAYS pair your duals its important..

Was a bit wet, have you thought about digging a sump pit it would also be useful when the whole yard is concreted. Like you I came from the same background and like you have regretted, sometimes opening my gob and then regretting it when someone's done the same as happened to you. Some advice, they're get their comeuppance and when they do you can enjoy watching them fall. People just don't get it do they, Asheville is about you having tippers and concrete trucks working is good, but I have no doubt the bigger dream is more than that. 👍

H Daniel, OK, VW or any diesel EPF unit. Town driving is a killer to any diesel system. before MOT testing, on diesel, I always put top quality fuel In the tank PLUS a good diesel additive/ cleaner then rag the a$$ out the motor on a fast road journey for 10/ 15 miles. this normally burns excess build-up in exhaust systems. Maybe ask your fitters. Thanks, ian.
