I bought that machine. Don’t you feel like the water coming out of it tastes a lot like plastic?

I never noticed any plastic taste but I didn't use it for hot water, only for espresso. Make sure you are using filtered water before filling the canister.

@@lapsedtime Thanks for your reply. Yes, I only use it for espresso as well (using filtered water), but by curiosity I tasted just the water and it tasted and smell like the canister 😅 I hope it goes away with time.

When you set your custom amount is it set for the double or single shot? Like later i want my custom size does it only work for the setting i made previously if I use 1 or 2? Great video though. It helped a lot!

@debd7803 you can set a custom amount for both the single or double shot button. As long as you save the setting (press the steam button) it will use the new setting until you change it. So you can have a custom setting for each.

This machine looks very similar to an Australian Kmart brand called ANKO and it was around $119, I wondered how a bottomless portafilter would go with mine.

I'm glad I went with the bottomless portafilter. Larger capacity with more control over the dose, grind, and ratio.

@@lapsedtime It would most likely fit mine looks like a similar machine just different branding, in fact this looks similar to the sunbeam one with exception of the pressure meter.
