Okay, interesting - Thanks. I don't know why i even guessed at it. Never heard to the Flying 69. I'm not really a fan of GG's music, for the most part, and there's a LOT of it i haven't heard. Lately i've been surprised to find out just how much stuff he did manage to record up to the mid-'80s. He was definitely very determined to make it big, to be famous. He talked about it all the time, and made it his #1 and ONLY priority.

This actually was after "Fuckin' the Dog." He cleaned up the lyrics in a last ditch effort to get some airplay on the "Live Fast Die Fast" 7". Hence that terrible music video he made for the title track. If he ever made an attempt to "sell out" that was it.

Fuckin' The Dog is a different song with the same sheet music. GG often borrowed previously written music to create "new" songs. When you go thru over 40 bands and write over 18K songs in a decade while staying shitfaced on whiskey and strung out on heroin & cocaine, things kinda run together from time to time haha. Fuckin' The Dog is a great one tho.

I think the "Live Fast, Die" EP was with The Scumfucs - the EP this track came off of was released in 1984 - same year as E.M.F. (Scumfucs album and GG's favorite he ever recorded - even though Dirty Love Songs is an absolute raunchy classic). The ScumFucs and The Jabbers sounded very similar - The Scumfucs were a bit more streetpunk-ish, not as crisp, and much raunchier than Jabber's tunes. Jabbers and Scumfucs were the best GG bands IMO. Cedar Street Sluts had a few good ones too.

Hell - it very well could have been recorded in 1981-1983 when GG Allin & The MC2 was still a thing (w/ Wayne Kramer on guitar). This was the band when Dead or Alive and Gimmie Some Head were recorded, and Livin' Like An Animal is in the same spirit - definitely Jabbers, MC2, or Scumfucs.
