BUT BUT those cussin moments are the most fun!!! You know I been there haha. I am STILL finding plastic shavings from when I did the BRS several years ago and I made those covers. That stuff static bonds to EVERYTHING!

As soon as I saw you start drilling that off cut of pickguard material I wanted to jump up and stop you. Knew that was going to catch and spin. Glad you didn't get yourself good with it.

Speaking of cussing moments😂 I had my largest cussing moments ever not long ago but I've gotten over it. I stand by my peach and love philosophy!! It never lets me down and makes me so much more accepting of my own flaws😂 you got this man. It's looking great and your brother is going to be so happy!!✌️🤍

I know that you would have had to take more safety precautions but a Carbon fiber scratch plate with the weave it has would have looked grate with the off white body you said your brother wants this guitar painted. Also more ware and tear on your tools and bits plus most likely more expensive. It would have looked really good though. You could just make the shelf for the back plate a little wider ant then make the plate to fit the new width.

More swearing and more safety glasses... i wanna look more like Todd, one pair on my face and 5 pairs on my head... 😂 Great work with the transfer film Mrs Unit, i love when i can combine construction or prop making techniques and materials with a guitar build. And go wider on the back cover mate, no one will really notice 3mm extra...

3 mm wider really isn't that much wider, go with the wider plate
