I had to track down MACINTOSH copies on amazon to keep playing it on the family's computer, but thank God for Aspyr who ported both, and even included the first game's OST. i still have all three disks for NOLF, the OST, and NOLF 2, despite having a gaming PC now.

I think what made NOLF2 special is they finally got 3d artists to make humans look human for the very first time in a PC game. Most games; even those released years later had low-poly or putty faced people, even main characters in cutscenes. NOLF2 was the first game since the original Shenmue from 2 years prior to impress me with its superior faces and lip-syncing. Both games are great but still it had that going for it, even Doom3 faces looked silly,

@Motleydoll123 Жыл бұрын
i hope that i one day does get a remaster or a remake/reboot, just as long as they kept the story and aesthetics intact. NOLF is a game series very much set in a spy film universe of the 60s that has loving parody, like a mixture of the classic bond films and austin powers, but with a female leading lady who is a good example of a strong female character. confident, capable, strong willed, beautiful, genuinely witty, and with a good heart. if they did a remake/reboot, maybe have some small glimpses into her past as 'the fox'. small improvements to make stealth a good option, but also make sure that you can go guns blazing in an enjoyable fashion when the time comes to give HARM and the various nare-do-wells a lead injection. give kate some pugilist skills, and maybe if you have some special takedowns on enemies, go with a nice blend of humour and serious skill. Like kate kicking a sentry in the balls before either socking them in the face or snapping their neck. that kind of thing.

The thing about the skill point you said is somewhat wrong. When you notice the stats on the left of the SP distribution menu,all of her stats are already at 100 percent, which means she is already an expert. But her experience increases as she does a mission. If you think practically, collecting intels, infiltrating bases etc. actually grants you some or much experience on how to deal with similar issues in future, thus making you even more able. The addition of skill points in the game is actually a display of the famous phrase - practice makes a man perfect.
